The takeaway is more obvious: Canada might be just like China now with their data collection, might and it is pretty much a open for distortion. And, they'll use that data to distort anything they can to social engineer through "studies" like this.

Folks will read the headline and do a quick "cause and effect" determination: The Unjabbed are more dangerous, especially on the highway. And another social strike against them. Or they'll see the jabbed are more like to need treatment in a hospital but take the stat and Invert it: 30 Percent of new hospital admissions are the unjabbed." Inverted, 70 are jabbed, but the jabbed will be seen as the problem. That's not new BTW.

Canada has serious problems.

You do realize the insurance being talked about in the OP is auto insurance right?

I'm a very aware driver and I drive a tricky route back and forth to work. I memorized every road and landmark along my route and know where it is safe or hazardous. All the most hazardous situations I've been in, outside of once or twice a year due to weather, were due to other drivers.

As far as I can tell, this is stupid driving crap that has nothing to do with anything but people's attitudes. Maybe attitude is a factor in not getting vaccinated, maybe stupidity is also a factor. All I can tell you is my decisions on my health, including vaccinations, and how I drive, are both because of my deliberate situational awareness.

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but what I thought I knew about vehicle insurance was that the rate they choose to charge is NOT based on simply on how good of a record you have, but all the drivers around you as well.

So, they can excuse rate hikes by using other peoples' driving as justification.

But maybe that was in the old days.

Look at when the data is from,summer of 2021.How many people had the covid injection by then?
In Britian I was offered it in May 2021 and I'm in my 40's.
So they discovered that older people have less accidents than young people.
Wow,they needed research for that one?

Since I got all the real vaccines I’ll be telling them I’m fully vaccinated. Oh and remember if you haven’t gotten your 20th booster you’re not fully vaccinated. You’re just a dirty unvaxxed person too.

Rather, it's most likely the type of person that doesn't get vaccinated is also likely to get in more car accidents. This is based on statistics and generalities.

Personally, I know many unvaccinated people and they are fine drivers. I also know one who is stubborn as hell. No vaccine at all. Also, when the governor closed the state down due to a snow storm, saying people should stay off the roads for the next 24 hours, he fought back. No one could tell him what to do. He ended up getting in an accident, totalling his car, while running errands in a blizzard.

What is concerns me is how did these statisticians get a hold of auto and medical data.

You are not vaccinated .....to qualify as vaccinated you can't spread it or catch it..... That is why it is mostly refered to as a jab and not a vaccine.... It does not meet the criteria to be called a vaccine .. the who had to change the definition of a vaccine to make this one sort of be able to be called one.... Nope it's an experimental jab and you would have to be mental to take one over and over again .... The first 2 didn't work ...why I know a third one will do try 4 or more .... You will never be vaccinated!

Did they compare a number of unvaccinated, able bodied individuals against an equal number of vaccine impaired / incapacitated vaccinated people too ill to get behind the wheel?

Be interesting to see how exactly they came up with that number!

I'm looking at a lot in Indiana for $8000 it would save me money on car insurance within 3 years.

I'm pretty sure I could with some time come up with stats with a relationship btween getting the jab and bowling scores, getting jabbed and cheetos consumption, getting jabbed and termite infestation...among others
