Consider Listverse to be a pretty well respected mainstream website so quite refreshing to see this list pop up earlier this year regarding 'BlackRock'.

Realize most folks on ATS will be well aware of this company's shenanigans but really would urge everyone to give this full article a good read (subheadings listed below).

10 Shadowy Facts About the Secret Company That Runs the World.

There is a company so large it controls assets worth half of the U.S. GDP, but no matter how hard we tried, we couldn’t find its true owners even after scouring the nooks and cranny of the internet. This is not so surprising considering what we found out about it.

That company is BlackRock, and it is doing a very good job at keeping itself out of your face, which explains why you’ve probably never heard about it. However, it’s too big to hide, and here are ten shadowy facts about it and how its existence and activities affect you.

10 • It Controls Trillions in Assets.

9 • Why You’ve Never Heard of It.

8 • It Is the 4th Arm of the U.S. Government.

7 • It Owns Shares in Competing Businesses.

6 • It Owns Every Pharmaceutical Company.

5 • It Actually Controls $20 Trillion.

4 • No One Regulates It.

3 • It Operates Outside the U.S.

2 • It’s the Reason Americans Can’t Buy Homes.

1 • The Surprising Owner?

Full Article

Always find it amazing how the vast majority of people out there have never even heard of this company (especially as they control both big pharma and big media) and wasn't really that surprised to see BlackRock on the WEF partner list (apparently the plan is to enact the 'Davos agenda' and exploit the 'large opportunities of a net zero world').

Also thought American investigative author Ellen Brown asked some really important questions in this vid concerning BlackRock bailout money corruption and why the company hasn't been broken up under anti trust laws.

Anyway turns out good old Corbett has conducted quite an in depth three part investigation into this company and you can read about it below.

Let's face it: if you're not concerned about the power BlackRock wields over the world by this point, then you're not paying attention.

But don't worry if all of this is news to you. Most people have no idea where this investment giant came from, how it clawed its way to the top of the Wall Street dogpile, or what it has planned for your future.

Let's fill that gap in public understanding. Over the course of this investigative series, you're going to get a crash course in the creepiest company you've never heard of.

Blackrock is certainly a monstrosity of a company, but that listicle is just awful and can be easily refuted or debated for most of the points they make.

10 • It Controls Trillions in Assets...
7 • It Owns Shares in Competing Businesses.

So do other investment firms. Vanguard and SSgA, for example.

6 • It Owns Every Pharmaceutical Company.

It owns shares in every pharmaceutical company. Again, other investment groups do too.

5 • It Actually Controls $20 Trillion.

They manage about half that in investment funds. Their actual assets are only around US$152 billion.

4 • No One Regulates It.

There are several Federal and international government agencies that regulate business. Whether they enforce the regulations or not can be up for debate.

3 • It Operates Outside the U.S.

That's the definition of a multinational company. What's he big deal?

2 • It’s the Reason Americans Can’t Buy Homes.

Not the only reason, but definitely part of the problem.

Yes BlackRock and Vanguard do quite well with there 51% controlling interest model - pretty much how the Bauer family operate whilst retaining control of 'The Economist'.

BlackRock and the Vanguard Group, the two largest asset management firms in the world, combined own The New York Times and other legacy media, along with Big Pharma.

Vanguard and BlackRock are the top two owners of Time Warner, Comcast, Disney and News Corp, four of the six media companies that control more than 90% of the U.S. media landscape.

BlackRock and Vanguard form a secret monopoly that own just about everything else you can think of too. In all, they have ownership in 1,600 American firms, which in 2015 had combined revenues of $9.1 trillion. When you add in the third-largest global owner, State Street, their combined ownership encompasses nearly 90% of all S&P 500 firms.

Vanguard is the largest shareholder of BlackRock. Vanguard itself, on the other hand, has a unique structure that makes its ownership more difficult to discern, but many of the oldest, richest families in the world can be linked to Vanguard funds.

Hate to say it (and not trying to be a dick) but also reckon your post 'can be easily refuted or debated'

Cheers.

BlackRock, Inc. is an American multi-national investment company based in New York City. Founded in 1988, initially as a risk management and fixed income institutional asset manager, BlackRock is the world's largest asset manager, with US$10 trillion in assets under management as of January 2022

This isn't just paper power but real power---assets in the trillions.

This is a powerhouse. Good link--I'm going to check it out.

Good stuff mate, apparently BlackRock/Vanguard also had long term controlling interest over 'hated' companies like Monsanto (before being bought by Bayer) and there's a relevant post in the thread below:

Does it make a difference that there are many that don't know about Black Rock?

The people that do know about it, don't seem to care.

What good is knowing if you can't or won't do anything about it?

We keep talking about what the powers that be are doing. All that talk has zero effect if we keep doing all the things that keep them in power.

If someone left the spigot on and the house is flooded. Walking around the city telling everyone you see that the house is flooded, is not going to stop the flood.

We should at least turn off the tap.

I honestly don't know mate (probably).

Do me a favour, take the time to read the Corbett piece and get back to me on what you think.

Corbett always does his homework (is quite obsessive about it in fact) and he's turned up some truly disturbing information.

Look forward to your reply.

...and their arm. Mecca is a Black Cube that is worshipped, Christianity has a cross that is a 2 dimensional cube, Judaism has the star of David with a hexagram in the middle witch is a 2 dimensional cube and Islam has a "crescent moon" which is actually the rings around Saturn with the star in the place of where the north pole is which is also a hexagram.

Kabbalah means Cube also not to mention the hundreds of companies symbols that are references to cubes and Saturn's rings.

The Cult believes that the most powerful Entity in the universe is on Saturn and CERN has a part to play in the release of this Entity.

Everything is connected to the Black Cube and Saturn. Here is a challenge. Google watches and/or clocks and hit images, see what the majority of them have in common then see if you can connect it to Saturn or BC. Hint: Father Time/Times Square Chronos.

I think Ellen Brown is an excellent source. I'm disappointed that the video "is not available in my country."

There is a place called Black Rock in Nevada (US) as well. Used to launch homemade rockets out in the desert there. And it's (or was?) the site of the annual "Burning Man" art festival city.

There was even a movie made that featured the area: "Bad Day at Black Rock".
