Asmodeus3 Twitters moderation system is in tatters down to the fact that Musk has laid-off about 7,500 employees or thereabouts.
These places need to be moderated appropriately for some very obvious reasons.
As to real blows so far that seems to be to Elon Musk's bank account.
Layoffs Have Gutted Twitter’s Child Safety Team
Just one person remains to enforce the company’s ban on child sexual abuse content across Japan and the Asia Pacific region.
The importance of in-house child safety experts cannot be understated, researchers say. Based in Twitter’s Asian headquarters in Singapore, the team enforces the company’s ban on child sex abuse material (CSAM) in the Asia Pacific region. Right now, that team has just one full-time employee. The Asia Pacific region is home to around 4.3 billion people, about 60 percent of the world’s population.
ATS is not Twitter or anything reminiscing such.
if the place is deemed toxic or racist
A few years back, some people deemed the solar eclipse "racist."
You just lost all credibility by bringing up that fiasco.

Apple and the EU are not arbiters of truth and what 'good' or 'bad' content is won't be decided by either of them.
Apple and the EU are free to choose whichever media platforms they see fit.
It's like me arguing that my uncle Jamal doesn't approve of the current change in leadership on Twitter.....
No its not.
EU is just a laughable example by the way. Who the hell is the EU??!!
The EU is a "supranational political and economic union" comprising 27 member states.
As to what's laughable well the mess Elon has made of Twitter thus far never mind what he paid for the site springs to mind.

I don't support any of them per-say nickyw and i think your comparison to be somewhat off the mark with your East India Companies conquest of India rhetoric.
I dont even like Apple, my kids would disagree all the same.
Fact of the matter is through companies are free to choose which platforms they deem fit to promote or do business with same as nations or the EU.
Works both ways hence the changes Musk has implemented, but if i was Apple i would not wish to see advertisements that generate revenue posted next to racist or antisemitic tweets.
Im not quite sure how we got on to the weather or trans folk in England, and as far as im aware nobody has the right to bare arms here in the UK, at least not in the same to similar manner they do across the pond.
As to corporations spreading poison, you wont get much of an argument out out of me on that score, and some of the things they perpetrate and get away with are indeed despicable, same as the amount of tax most pay.
Hard pushed to exist in a modern world without them through.

TheRedneck
Apple and the EU cannot dictate to Twitter how they will conduct themselves and what sort of moderation policies they will use and how many moderators they the platform will employ.
I know it's bad new for all the radical left wing lunatics, the transgender ideologists, and the climate change catastrophists, but twitter will no longer be governed by those individuals.
The Twitter is not in any mess. This is a strawman argument.
Im not looking for credibility from you TheRedneck
That is probably the wisest thing you have ever said.
There's none left for you to find.
Anyhoo don't you imagine we you should return to the topic of the thread
You mean that the EU is actively trying to suppress free speech? Sure, good idea.
I wonder if they'll start burning books next?
