Terrible incident.

However one question. Why where they jogging on a road? Surely that is dangerous in itself.

the sidewalk was too narrow?

they were in a large formation, cop cars in front and back.

It’s still an open investigation from my understanding, they’re still trying to prove it was intentional. They just weren’t ready to make a case against him so had to let him go after 48 hours, which seems like a long time to be able to hold a person without charging them with a serious crime, but that’s another story.

he hit 25 people, one lost his leg.

and nobody can think of anything?

good thing he didn't kill any of them right off the bat. then they would have to keep him in jail.

don't want to piss off george.

where is sheriff hollister when you need him?

Like seriously what are you even talking about?

This has nothing to do with left vs right politics. They didn’t have enough proof it was an intentional act after 48 hours had to let him go. If they had of held him longer or charged him with something they couldn’t prove in court then they would have jeopardized the entire case.

This is how it works in a free country where everybody has the right to a fair trial. It has nothing to do with democrats you clown.

Charge with Unintentional maming of officers using a motor vehicle.

Then investigate his background , social media, previous arrest.

Judging by the past times this happened, it was most likely intentional. Looks like the Darrell Brooks type

they found pot i heard.

it's not illegal,but he maybe

how about driving on the wrong side of the road?

the driver is 22.

Next time I see the local high school and college cross county teams training, and the local marathon clubs training on PUBLIC roads I should just mow them over? Along with all the public road bicycle races on roads still open to traffic.

Yeah. You’re victim blaming.

California...

Here in LA County, criminals are released less than 48 hours after plowing through 75 law enforcement officers in training. 5 recruits are still in the hospital, some fighting for their lives. Absolutely horrible. Please continue to pray for the victims.

Don't live there if you can avoid it.

People jog on the road all the time. You must live in the woods or something. How the hell does someone not see a group that big jogging. I guess ill start running my car into bikers and joggers and say it was an accident.

I'm gonna say that odds are the perpetrator was black or brown, and the drug he was smoking released his inhibitions.

He's probably an impressionable individual who believes all police are racist against him because the TV told him so, and couldn't resist the chance to kill them "in self defense" while he was high.

I am saying that mistakes were made on both sides. They make sidewalks for a reason as well as athletic complexes. Being a cop is a dangerous enough job, why take unnecessary risks.

No mistake was made by the victims. Maybe you live in a city where the sidewalks go everywhere, but where I live I can't even walk to the Post Office two blocks away from my home without going out on the road for part of the journey, because parts of the roads where I live just plain don't have sidewalks.

It's unrealistic to expect a large formation jog never to enter the roadways.

On the other hand, it is not the least bit unrealistic to expect drivers to stay in their lanes.
