Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Thursday said she will no longer serve as the top Democrat in the U.S. House of Representatives, with her departure coming after her party lost its majority in the chamber in this month’s midterm elections.

Her stepping down means nothing other than a rat leaving the sinking boat. She only steps down because the people voted the democrats out of the house. She would have been speaker until her last breath.

Anyone over 65 should not be in a position to run a country. If there is an age minimum to run for President of the United States there should also be an age limit to serve office. Why are these old farts still in office???? Why do they not retire. They no longer serve the interests of the people. They only serve there own self preservation and need to stay relevant in a world that has passed them by. They should be enjoying what little time they have left in this life before they go meet the maker and get judged for their evil and selfish deeds. And why are people still voting for them???
