It was a simple coordinate mistake by the Russians. Let me show you.

First, the coordinates for the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv. 50.4501N 30.5234E

Next, the coordinates for the Ukrainian city of Lviv. 49.842957N 24.031E

Now take the N coordinate from Kyiv and the E coordinate from Lviv and you get right in the area in Poland where the missile hit.

Could be, but range might still be an issue with that theory. Not as much as many folks are claiming though (they are likely unaware of certain long range variants), assuming that it was an S300 as currently believed.

It would still be a stretch for many of the (innacurate) max ranges being repeatedly floated for S300s, but even with that, S300 *could* hit that location from the very tip of Belarus.

I think there's a slower speed variant with smaller warhead that could hit that location from the Black Sea fleet, but I'm not qualified to say for certain. Been hoping a resident or Youtube expert would provide some info on this.

And again, that's assuming it was an S300 in the first place.

But there is many different variations of S-300 and i dont know which hit Poland . Even 150 range could be enough from Belarus.

I have no idea how to go about verifying that, but it does seem like one of the more plausible explanations I've heard and read.

i bet if it was wrong coordinates, it was due to a faulty guidance module in russian missile. so they did what they have been known to do with their aircraft. duct tapped a hand held gps unit and connected it usb cable and let her fly.

I never said or believed it was intentional one way or the other. Neither really has any world leader. The coordinate mix up seems highly probable to me. At the very least, it's too much of a coincidence to be nothing. The explanation being given by NATO is most likely just a way of not escalating the conflict. Smart.

That’s exactly what I thinks happened. Just remember at the time Russia was firing off over 100 missiles all over Ukraine, it’s not that far fetched to assume a few of them didn’t hit there intended targets and that the US and NATO made up a story of it not being Russia to avoid being obligated into a direct conflict with Russia.

Stop the war already! Have a round table verbal discussion and form a plan for world peace, and actually follow through with it.

Quit destroying what is good...find a way...there is a certain group on planet Earth; that wants to destroy and everything that is good about Earth and it's global Heaven population.
