Regardless of what anyone thinks about Trump he is very right when he says that social media cannot be run by the radical left-wing lunatics and maniacs.

May I add that even if these platforms are not run by the same left-wing propagandists and ideologists, they are still high influenced.

If your words are true, regardless of what anyone thinks about Trump, then there is no point in discussing anything because whatever the others think or say will not change anything at all in your mind.

And if whatever that deranged guy states is always true, regardless of what anyone thinks about him, then it would be better for him to set up a social media in which only he, and just he, writes about whatever he wishes to. Regardless of what anyone thinks about.

Musk Restores Trump's Twitter Account After Online Poll

Elon Musk has reinstated Donald Trump’s account on Twitter, reversing a ban that has kept the former president off the social media site since a pro-Trump mob attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as Congress was poised to certify Joe Biden’s election victory.

But in a speech at an auto conference in May, Musk asserted that Twitter's ban of Trump was a “morally bad decision” and “foolish in the extreme.”

So Trump's account is back as it seems. Yet to see if he will rejoin the platform.

A video has been circulating on Twitter in the last 24 hours where bereaved families of those who died from the Covid-19 vaccine were giving a press conference in Japan. Well done to Twitter that allowed the video to be shared as under 'normal circumstances' the video would have been taken down and the account banned just as in most other social media platforms which are governed as we all know by the usual evil forces

Speech should be free unless illegal. Only law enforcement should take action on illegal activity, not corporations. Defining what is legal speech is outside corporations swim lane.

Media companies should not be liable for users behavior either. Laws are made by voters and representatives.

The politicians need to define what constitutes mass public communication like Twitter to identify deferential between that and sites like this. Moderation should be legal until the medium become “mass” public.

I agree with most of what you said.
Social media platforms are not law enforcement agencies and only when the law is broken should interfere in removing content. They are neither arbiters of truth and they have no business in interfering with free speech.

Best way to deal with them is facts and evidence as well as closing accounts in case they don't comply with these requests. Either they will close down or become echo chambers of their ludicrous and absurd ideas.

I argue more and more people to close their accounts with every social media platform they have issues with and when free speech is censored.

I definitely agree though with Trump when he said that the platform was run by radical left wing lunatics. That was my position long before the ex President articulated a few weeks ago.
