Why not focus on fertile land that was used for farming to put solar panels on, or destroying a forest ecosystem to clear old age trees to rip out to put solar farms on.

Because at some point taking away land used for food production WILL come back to bite everyone in their collective rears.
Just like ALL that land currently being used to grow corn for ethanol now accounts for I think it is 40% of the market- and when those fossil fuel engines get banned.
The bottom drops out of the market-FARMERS GO BANKRUPT- NO more food producers.

I’m all for ridding the corn for ethanol industry, my tax dollars could be used for better things than subsidizing those corn farmers.
