I can relate. I felt worthless if I didn't finish the 'highest degree possible' , but what use is that if after completing this, you feel it's never good enough? I'm raising my son to think for himself, to not be too influenced by me.
My parents raised me to believe , that yes indeed, one only has worth if they obtain the highest paid/hardest job possible.
I ended up never working, just a perpetual student.

My wife recently mentioned that several friends had had discussions about couples pooling resources to buy land and build houses, going to a rural lifestyle, having the husband work to support what needs may be had, and working together as a community. Like mini-survivalist compounds but from people you would never suspect of feeling this way in a million years. I think many folks want out of the game and be prepared for the worse times to come.

I think the issue is expectations. Having been married for 20 some odd years to two different women. I look at it this way. Women always want more. They don't know how to stop and just be. I got no issues with a work ethic, and wanting more. However the issue arises, taking on more to get more results in spreading yourself thin, and therefore you want more help. Men typically only take on what they have too, not what they want too. Example. I can spend 2 hours making a great steak dinner, cleaning up etc, or I can eat a bowl of cereal. Choice, I eat the bowl of cereal. The woman is opposite, they want the nice steak dinner, so they do all that work. Only now they are tired, so they need help cleaning up, or if they clean up, they need help with the other chores. Moral of the story, Contentment.

Now above someone gave the 30 yr old woman with 2 kids, looking for a man. She had a man, maybe too. Men aren't stupid. Why the Fly F*&k would a man take that on and help her? Would I bang her and lead her on sure. However lets say those kids are 10-12. that is 6-8 years of helping to raise them @ 30k per year, you that is alot of money to take care of someone elses kids. now do men exist that would do it? sure, those unicorns exist. However more likely, most of the men are divorced, and the same type of woman that initiated the divorce (Some 70% of divorces are initiated by women) are now looking for men. So now, women are looking in a pool of men that were rejected, abandoned, and now pissed at women because they had their whole life destroyed because the woman wanted more. Congrats, good luck finding the 40 yr old virgin that is willing to take that on. Or a man not damaged by the previous failure. Moral of the story, Repercussions.

Men have come to the realization they don't need kids, they don't need families, and women are desperate enough they can plug a hole anyway if they want, just have to lower their expectations. Further, they have also realized women and families are expensive. Why as a man would I give most of my salary to maintain them, when I can drink, rub one out to porn, and do what I want. Men choose to be with women for love. Once you kill that in a man, its just a contract. What are you getting for that salary. At that point marriage and relationships are nothing more than prostituion. You are paying for sex and a clean house, maybe. The catch is men want peace of mind too. So if the woman is too much hassle, easier to move on.

I personnally, I love my wife, I love my kids, but I also love my piece of mind, my freedom, and my independents. Its all a trade off. Men are looking and evaluating those trade offs, and realistically, women need to know, they have painted themselves in corners by destroying the men in our society to not want as a whole to have a woman stay home and cook and clean and take care of the kids. Why you ask? Because it would just mean him having to do more, and given the fact that most 30-40 year old men have already had one divorce and survived it, they are leary of doing it again. The society we have now is one that swings. Only that swinging is generational. 1950-60's house wives. 60's through today, men were meant to be used. Now you are seeing the pendulum swing back, men have lost interest which means women have to do more to get what they want from a man. Possible yes, but it will be a generation or 2 to swing back, then it will all start again.

After spending some years in various offices, I have to say that women are relegated to minor roles -
All the 'window offices' and management positions were given to men, except for relatively harmless titles such as 'Human Resources manager', which is simply the personnel department. Taking applications and such, and handling 'benefits', which are pretty much nonexistent now anyway.
And it wasn't as if these women didn't realize they were being taken advantage of. A friend of mine worked for a huge company, she and another woman handled a certain department. Well the powers that be brought in their friend, a twenty year old man with no experience or knowledge whatever, who was making triple the amount they were. And they had to teach him the job!
Needless to say, they both got up and quit. LOL

Ohh the womens lib woke brigade aint getting out of it now that the fan is getting hit.
