I found it odd how obsessed Trump was with Diana. When you see Melania with Trump you can see she has somewhat of a disgust for him. I absolutely thought she was going to divorce him. That didn’t happen.

Here's a pic when they first met it was Fashion Week in New York in 1998. Fashion Week in New York is both February and September, the car wreck was in August 1997, so February is likely out so here they are in September 1998 a little over a year after the crash.

Another thought I just had - Sure, one can change their looks drastically with enough plastic surgery. What is much more difficult to change is one's voice. Diana had a dulcet velvety voice, a little in the lower range. She spoke in a nice aristocratic British accent, being from Britain. Melania Trump's voice is higher by a few degrees, with a nice, but pronounced Eastern European accent. It's obvious to me that English is not Melania's first language. Princess Diana was a native English speaker. It is very hard to change your voice and have it sound like someone else's voice for a lengthy period of time consistently. Some people can mimic other voices well, but to sustain that is very difficult.

Lots of really good circumstantial evidence, as you mentioned Melania is indeed 10 years younger. If Melania is now Diana she is 61 years old.

Makes me wonder about their height too, a difference of over an inch or 2 would be suspect as well.

Can't find an accurate source Diana was estimated to be 5'10" while Melania is officially 5" 11" FWIW

I didn't even know what Melania looked like before her surgeries till today, it's all subjective I suppose but to me, she was prettier before the surgeries. Melania is still beautiful and elegant but there was just something about Diana though.

As to the importance of the first lady, I prescribe professor Willian Burr's assessment mostly.

There is numerous accounts of Trump being OBSESSED with Diana.

You actually misused the term and it means the complete opposite of what you think it means.
And the true meaning actually fits this better than what you intended to say.
The term comes from Fonzi on vacation in the show "Happy Days"
In this episode Fonzi is scared to take a jump on water skis.
The reason he is scared is because the jump is over a fenced off area where sharks are kept.
So in the end Fonzi overcomes his fears and takes the jump successfully thus, "jumping the shark".

She was working on 2 languages at the time.
She has learned 6 of them now.
