She was to progressive for The U.S. Market. They like music they can sing along to. That's not Kate on the whole.

She is a genius in her genre. No one else like her when she started out in the late 1970's, but since many have copied her style, Tori Amos and Bjork are just two.

I remember at the time, until a lot of her North American hits, a lot of my buddies hadn’t heard of her. I listened to more on FM than AM at the time.

Try asking people your same age if they have heard of Mike Oldfield.

I don’t think the is the ME but maybe this time my brain was tweaked as well. No way to say.

She was easy on the eyes, back then I thought she was a bit weird, but appreciate her more now, I always liked RUTH though.
