Check the two posts above this. Or you could just read the part of your article where it says the warehouse is leased to NARA.

I'm not disputing that the lease is NOW in NARA's name. The point is, it WAS being leased by the Obama foundation. Meaning Obama's foundation WAS storing classified documents that did not "conform to the agency’s archival storage standards for such records and artifacts".

As to your quote from the NARA saying "The Obama Foundation, an independent entity, has never had control over the records in Hoffman Estates." is a flat out lie.

Media reports confirm that the Obama Foundation had rented space from Hoffman Estates to store these documents, and extended their original lease for four more years back in August.

Even if the above quote were in error (I don't believe it is), I trust the NARA on this matter about as much as I trust the FBI and the Biden administration at the moment.

you guys keep playing the "Get Trump" game if you want, but there's a lot of hypocrisy going around right now, and it's not from Trump or the MAGA crowd.

Obviously, the FBI think Republicans are bluffing when they promise to slash agency funding next year.

The Agents will have to carry out their raids on bicycles.

It's time for the FBI to be dismantled and abolished, along with the IRS and it's militarized accountants.

If they can show that NARA leased the building the same month Obama put the documents there, I'd say they have a case, if they cannot, then they really need to be honest and show a bit of integrity. And by "they", I mean the left leaning posters on this thread. Facts, not feelz.

so how about it? Can you show when the lease was taken out by NARA? Again, if you can, and it matches up, you win. If not, well, the opposite of winning ......

They can't show that unless they forge some documents. It's a lie and they all know it.

Your post reminds me of how the organization that oversees presidential debates, has former President Obama as Chairman.

All that's going on in the world and it's still Trump OMB, indict him and get it over with, or don't and get it over with.

trump is part of the anti-democratic movements that have swept many countries of the world. he is a role model for populists, fascists, demagogues, anti-democrats, christian radicals, opportunists. he has, possibly even unintentionally, channeled these already existing currents. i even believe that trump is neither a fascist nor a right-wing radical, he simply has no clear moral stance, he is an egomaniac for whom everything is just a game that he wants to win - above all he want to set the pace in everything. and in a way he is a puppet in a much bigger game. he is still relevant. sadly.

The article itself is conjecture and biased, obviously by assuming guilt in the first sentence.

"A central question in the Mar-a-Lago espionage and stolen documents investigation involves former President"

I have to agree.

With less than 45 days till Midterms, there is an all out propaganda push on Trump, everything from MSM to independent sites like ATS.

Either or, more pressing issues are at hand and basically this whole business with the FBI will come to a close soon once we retake the Chambers.

Thank god too, we got so many pressing issues and things to take care of, the least we need is more weaponized three letters and the radical hyper partisans simply out to get Trump.

You're a prime example of radicalization, Orange Man Bad is the real deal with you.

However, I'm happy populism is taking root and people like you will either get educated and wake up or, fade into obscurity.

Lets be real, no don't know what you're talking about.

The one-world government folks are angry over Italy and still pissed at Trump.

Has the FBI killed Trump yet in a fair and impartial shoot-out?

Who cares. You're like a bunch of old women, wringing your hands over a bunch of paper that no one really missed for over a year and a half.

This is all a game the government is playing to screw Trump. Open your f***ing eyes.

the italians have always had populist partly right-wing governments and they have always failed - the new neo-fascist at the top of the country will not last long either.
if this shadow government really should exist then it must be a pretty chaotic and disorganized bunch. Apparently they haven't reached their goal yet (which one exactly?), although they've been working towards it for a long time.

What do the declassified Crossfire Hurricane docs have to do with the large amount of classified docs at MAL, some hidden and squirreled away in his office?

The only thing that shows, is that Trump is aware of an official process, even signing off on necessary redactions. When you keep bringing up this declassification, you're actually hurting your case. You get that right?

His attorneys have made no claim in any court filing that the documents they turned over in June per the subpoena request for classified documents or the docs found in his office were declassified.

Based on their analysis of this material they have come to the conclusion that Trump stored and hid the documents despite knowing that it was illegal.

First stop for Obama library archives? An empty furniture store in Hoffman Estates

Unlike many on the left, I can admit when the evidence is sufficient. I think that is evidence enough to say I stand corrected on that aspect of this debate. It does say the GSA rented the space and NARA would send in a team later to go through them. I do have a few questions though. From your article...

Previous presidential collections have also been stored in temporary quarters before making a landing at their final destination. Bush 43's archives, which includes an estimated 200 million emails, 70 million pages of documents, 4 million photos and 43,000 artifacts, were shipped by truck and military-chartered air to a warehouse in Lewisville, Texas, before making the move to the library.
The archives of his father, President George H.W. Bush, found a temporary home in a strip mall space previously occupied by a bowling alley and a Chinese restaurant, Laster said. Bill Clinton's archives landed for a time in a former Oldsmobile dealership near his future library in Little Rock, Ark.

For documents that are so important, they sure do end up in some odd places. You would think our government would have a guarded warehouse for archives that can include classified documents, but I guess it's okay as long as NARA knows where they are? Or maybe not.

Trump had them stored in his home. Both NARA and the FBI knew where they were and had been in contact with Trump. Neither denies that. The FBI was at Trump's home previously and inspected where the documents were kept and asked Trump to place another lock on the door, which he did. Again, this is not denied by the agency.

So if the FBI was welcome, why was it suddenly necessary to raid a former presidents home and ransack it? Classified documents? I hardly think so considering where some former presidents documents ended up after they left office. Considering that Trump still has the Secret Service at his home, I would think his documents would have been a lot safer than a car dealership or a Chinese restaurant since 3 government agencies knew where they were and two of them could inspect them at any time.

Touche on your find from from 2016, but we all know this was a politically motivated attack. No amount of spinning is going to prove otherwise.
