I think Russia is completely incapable of of projecting air power or securing air superiority, this much is obvious, if its not, then continue...

What about the other team ?
It takes at least 2 sides to have a battle .
You did know that , right ?

And any air force personnel , especially an old Air Rescue Team member , will tell you :
It ain't the aircraft that really matters , it's the pilots.

It appears that russia is quite deficient in that area.

All it takes is just one nuclear laden hypersonic to get through. Then it doesn’t really matter what anyone thinks about parachutes.

You know what comes back in return, right?

It won't be just 1.

I've been watching video and reports for 6 months.

Pilot skills demonstrated lately are clearly inferior to what I saw in March & April, and russia didn't have ANY pilots with 'skills' for a proper SEAD role even back then.

There have been at least 2 videos of pilots ejecting from perfectly good fully armed aircraft over Ukrainian occupied areas, so 'motivation' can't be all that high.

YouTube , right ?
There are no mention of opposing force losses in the OP .
There are no mentions of the size of the forces involved.
What matters in air combat are the "kill" ratios .

Now you know.
And knowing is half the battle .
You should thank me for the information .

Have you seen russia's 'kill ratios'?

Ukraine barely has an air force anymore, and they barely flew at all during the summer, though they recently started flying more sorties every day.

russians are mostly getting shot down by MANPADS because they don't know how to defeat their own S300s so they all fly extremely low.

Poking the Bear may not end well.

It seems Russia is the one doing the poking, so yes I agree.

Yeah, all Ukraine did was launch missiles at their own citizens who voted to seperate and join Russia, and set up a ton of deadly biolabs along the Russian border where they studied the worst viruses and how they can be transmitted in animals with migration patterns that cross the Russia-Ukraine border, and where there coincidentally were outbreaks in Russia caused by those same kinds of animals they were studying.

Putin just need to chill bro. Its all cool man. Just let the Deep State do its thang, dawg. You don't go to war for defense, or people, or principles... learn from the US bro. War is for like, money, and oil and slurpies and stuff.

And who is gonna launch the return? Do you have reason to believe Ukraine has nukes? They're not a part of NATO. And even NATO is not what it once was. I dont see NATO articles being upheld to the word in the future. It will depend on "if its convenient". And its not convenient for us to go to war with Russia over Ukraine or we already would have.

You need to come up on current events, even Russia dropped your line above after the first few weeks. It also does not even make sense when you actually look at it. The US doesn't need bio labs in any country, we have a ton already. Also, all the so called bio labs are not at the level needed as you suggest.

There is no place in the world where a chunk of a country can just vote to secede...period, it is literary an asinine thought. Now Russia is blowing up everything, so I guess that is good...lol

If Russia uses a tactical nuke it will be the end of them. I'm not saying all out nuclear counter strike, but it will get ugly and Russia will have every sanction possible for the next 100 years. They will go back to some dark age totally isolated by the rest of the world.

Yep.

It isn't clear what has caused this spike in sorties and shoot-downs, but it is possible that pressure for the Russian Air Force to halt Ukraine's progress on the battlefield and complicate its forces' ability to hold recaptured territory has increased. Forward-deployed medium and long-range Ukrainian air defenses mean even high-end tactical jets cannot operate at altitude, which pushes them down into the MANPADS envelope.

Who is poking the bear? The bear is trying it on with someone who happened to fight back.

The bear is utterly depressing.

You do realize a massive number of ethnic Russians in the East and South have been in conflict in the area for years.

With Ukrainian Nationalists who clear as day support Nazi, because they hated Stalin etc.

Google videos showing how ethnic Russians in that area have been treated bad. And or branded as “traitors”

So Russia steps in on call. Pro Zelensky call them invaders.

NATO influence looks to put weapons on Russias border for awhile (don’t compare other countries as they’ve been NATO for awhile and a completely different situation I.e massive number of ethnic Russians in eastern and southern Ukraine)

How would U.S feel if Russia started putting nukes and weapons on Mexicos border?

U.S wouldn’t like it to say it lightly.

It’s a complex situation obviously. To go around and say Ukraine nationalists with support from Ukraine are innocent is outrageous.

Ukraine hasn’t done Jack squat to defuse the conflict there. They’ve been ramping up

we know exactly how the US would feel if Russia put nukes in Mexico. and we know because it has already happened. although it was not Mexico, but Cuba where Russia put in nukes.

and the result was the closest the world has been to nuclear war,

and now we have pretty much the exact same situation in the Ukraine, only Russia and the US/west are on the opposite sides. likely one reason Russia has understandingly reacted the way it has. and just like with Cuba this could end rather badly, especially with the illegitimate Ukraine President and Biden working so hard to ramp the war up. thus completely justifying Russia's fears. which of course only escalates the situation.

at this point the best action that can be taken, is to give the Ukraine back to Russia. then they could do as all the agreements put in place that allowed the Ukraine to separate in the first place were to do, until the Ukraine, US, and west blatantly broke those agreements. and use the western Ukraine as intended, as a buffer zone between Russia and the west. in fact they should make the western Ukraine into a demilitarized zone, even while under the control of Russia, to give some measure of security for both sides.

um, you are rather wrong. people vote to secede a lot more often then you apparently realize. in fact, now that i think about it, Quebec is pretty much due for yet another vote to separate. they do so every few years. they just have not yet gotten enough votes, even with all their intimidation tactics. and western Canadian provinces have been making noise lately about separating (in a large part due to Quebec). and if you recall history, the US has had some states secede, which resulted in one of the worst civil wars when the rest of the US attacked to force them back into the union.
