I'm the same.

We dropped cable when our two primary networks dropped The Venture Brothers (Adult Swim, Gen X Humor Animation) and when John Stewart and Stephen Colbert retired from the Daily Show and Colbert Report (Comedy Central).

That's literally all we were paying for with our subscription.

Since then it's been certain streaming shows on various providers, and even then, not many of them.

They say there's a fine line between funny and offensive, I'd say it probably depends on the company you keep.

The sketch was from 2009, seems he picked up a big contract the same year so it's not like he was a starving controversial artist?

I didn't watch it but flicked through, that's not entertainment.

It's not even a cartoon, which makes it creepier, well that sketch any road.

It's two full-grown men acting out whatever the feck I'm not really sure.

But humorous is the last thing that springs to mind, that's for sure.

I don't and I didn't.

I just clicked to see what the contraversy was about rather than going on word of mouth.

I have no desire to view someones sick fantasies, even in jest.

I ran into someone back in the days of Yahoo Chat who was very enthusiastic about his pedophilliac inclinations and who claimed he had raped premature babies and paid single mothers for images of their children.

I immediately reported him for abuse.

The whole idea of sexually abusing children is absolutely repulsive to me.

I thought i would have been animated as well, was rather shocked to see two grown men act out what can only be described as horrendous.

They should be on a list for that and no mistake.

I started hating Dan Harmon after he appeared on a pod cast during Covid and discussed how he didn’t understand why his house and floors were so dirty because no cleaning staff could come clean his home. He was like yea I guess he couldn’t understand it was bazar actually. Then he made a comment how he is happy with his new wife because she reminds him to bathe. Gross ogre.

The dude remind me of Howard Hughes in his late years. Long scraggly hair dirty and unwashed.


I loved Rick and Morty but something was off about the last season the whole shows direction changed it become woke in my opinion. I haven’t even bothered to watch the latest episodes zero interest.

Aye that sick sketch has pretty much influenced my opinion of the fellow, not interested, and would avoid at all costs after witnessing such guff.

I can give you a brief summary if you like...

It was highly distasteful and had the vibe of a dodgy VHS tape you really wish you never found.

I've seen actual worse on actual live TV and plenty of other places as I grew up with technology, at times it's been hard to avoid such things without turning everything off.

I don't turn into a raging lunatic witnessing distressing things, I didn't want to watch the flick but I wanted to understand what people are talking about. 30 seconds in total I'd guestimate, the video was 5 mins long.

I know it's sick and twisted.....so I will not even read your summary.

I tried watching Rick and Morty because there was such a buzz about it.

I love science humor, but I just didn't really get into the show.

I'm more Futurama I guess.

Maybe my distaste for Rick and Morty was because it was written by a perverted mind to begin with.

Futurama was class and might even be getting a reboot on Hulu at some point in 2023.

I've heard those rumors as well.

Some are saying it's going to be CGI next time around and the core fan base is worried and hoping they stick to the old traditional animation style.

Fingers crossed it's the classic format.

It's whether they choose to aim towards the same target audience methinks.

As long as they don't make it all to woke and rainbows ile be happy enough.

Well, any road i was looking for something to watch/re-watch as of late, and that show had a few seasons, about 7 i think.

Not watched the show in a few good years.

Futurama it is then.
