Cheers for providing the sketch, did not find it funny nor humorous, to be honest.

Hopefully, his adult cartoon material is of a better caliber, coz that sketch-type thingmabob was pretty sick and # ta boot.

Now that i have seen the sketch i don't think i would want to leave him alone with my kids, put it that way.

He ticks the creepy box methinks.

So on that score, you might not be far wrong.

Just my opinion all the same, i don't know the man, or think i would wish to much.

Idk. You tell a story you influence, I think it's often that simple.
The Christian devil has been around for a while so it's not exactly an original show, I might give it a watch but I'm doubtful... I like Danny DeVito playing greaseballs personally, maybe it'll work lol.

Expressing stories is something we love to do, I like old stories and I understand why people would rehash them, use them to influence or just generally bastardise them thinking they're Shakespeare.

The why of the influence always interested me more. Mindless entertainment isn't so mindless for some? I can't say I've had much of an imagination but I always found it to be more tangible than the watery influences that flow in from the outside so to speak.

Mostly dribble... Comes to mind. Depends how people are influenced by their entertainment. It's extremely rare for the likes of GTA to inspire actual murder for instance. It's much more indicative of a problem with the individual than society or the entertainment imho. It's all influence though isn't it? Yet are the new stories any more brutal or shocking than the classics?

I could go on about the psychological aspects of modern entertainment because it's more like oral tradition, you feel it and your social interaction skills are engaged...

Have to say RAY1990, the dude somewhat irked me after watching a full-grown man making daft jokes about baby rape.

That's what i call rather unpalatable and just not funny under any circumstance far as i can establish.

Well if you put it like that not really.

Why is he allowed to release entertainment if he is so objectionable? This is literally the first I'm hearing of him.

The entertainment industry has the worst record when it comes to abuse of any kind, I'm aware of that. Obviously there's no disclaimers when I'm flicking through Netflix. I'm not an industry buff either. Like the majority I watch things for mindless entertainment.

Because I looked his name up on Google and read what it said......so I already knew.

I knew what the sketch was going to be .... so didn't watch it.

I think in the instance where that sketch material is concerned.

""Creepy Bastard"" are going to be two of them.

I don't think we have much to argue about on this score Itisnowagain, the dudes not funny and that sketch does indeed ring alarm bells.

Yeah I didn't really watch it myself, I just skipped through it, heard some horrible things then seen him lying with his bare buttocks showing simulating raping a baby doll. That was plenty... Too much tbh

They say there's a fine line between funny and offensive, I'd say it probably depends on the company you keep.

The sketch was from 2009, seems he picked up a big contract the same year so it's not like he was a starving controversial artist?

Depends on what/how you search i suppose.

The Guardian article seems to pretty much cover the gist of the horrendous sketch any road.

Later in the five-minute episode, Harmon’s character convinces another father that raping his baby will cure it of becoming a murderer. He caresses the naked doll, before taking off his pants and miming raping the baby on a couch. The skit ends with the promise that Harmon’s character will find more babies to molest.

Yuk.

I attempted to view the sketch but it was of such poor production quality (thank gods) that I knew it was going to be horrible before I got more than ten seconds in.

I'm not going to suffer through that just to form an opinion on actually having to view the controversial aspects.

But baby rape isn't funny by any stretch of the imagination, and is a pretty sick thing to make light of.

I haven't watched cable tv in a long time. I do watch movies on Amazon but I choose what I watch and I haven't seen a commercial in forever. I don't watch the news, my news is from this site, and libertydaily, and I look at that once a week, if that.
