Somethings up. a month ago I ordered some parts for a scooter on Ali. They come no problem. A little after I ordered a small lathe motor. It was a FedEx, the tracking ended up delivered in Israel. So I got a refund and ordered the same motor on eBay. since then I have got letters saying the carrier cant ship because my address is wrong. Its the same Pay Pal address as it always was, so far three letters from the supplier. They have never had this problem before. All claiming address problems.

As I recall, Mao and many of his inner circle/advisors didn't have much of an education, either.
Lack of education doesn't mean lack of smarts. Never has, never will.
XI didn't get where he got by being an idiot...not in that political environment.
Absolutely, he's dangerous, but a thug--calling him a thug sounds like you're trying to say he's not smart, he is smart.
If I misconstrued, my apologies.
A white hat that sanctions the kidnapping and murder of uyghurs in his country? and disappears anyone who challenges the CCP? Weird white hat

How do you know he is on the same side as the CCP... Mb he is countering it.
:-)
Because I pay attention to world events and weve actually seen him many times condone it and threaten it, theres far more evidence he supports it than that hes some sort of white hat playing 4d chess

China under his and the CCP leadership is one messed up place for the average citizen IMO.
The thing is, quality of life and standard of living for literally millions upon millions of Chinese has improved dramatically over the last thirty or so years.
Abject poverty and starvation was still relatively common place in China - I dare say it still is for some in the vastness that is China.
And I'm sure the major cities are plagued with some of the problems that occur in major cities throughout the world.
But the transformation has been staggering.
Of course it has come at a cost, maybe a cost that many of us wouldn't want to pay.
But the reality is many, many Chinese people are willing to forego things like civil liberties, freedom of speech etc; they have a different psyche and collective outlook.
I'm not trying to support China and some its more extreme policies.....just offering a different perspective than what is normally put forward.
