In the clip above, what strikes you as odd?

The husk formerly known as Blooper Reel Joe is just having another day at the office overseeing the collapse of the United States.

Nothing new there.

I'm talking about CNN.

They've had entire years now of deluded, petty and sniping opinion reporting against anyone conservative that is a nuisance for the Democrats and globalists alike.

They ran cover for Joe during the 2020 elections, burying the Biden family scandals.

They did all this and more as their ratings went into freefall, and their stakeholders indifferent to the damage being done to their bottom line.

They were willing to lose financially, for the sake of ideology.

There is no way their board members would oversee this relentless pursuit of delusion and dark fantasy so stoically as the company sank to all time lows in viewership and profit.

Unless they were willing to slit the throat of their own credibility for massive sums of money from a Soros and a Gates.

Fine, I can understand that their greed would override their common sense.

So what strikes me as odd here is that CNN has been quietly cleaning house for a while now.

There is a subtle shift to appear more... reasonable.

Why?

If you've already sold your soul for a part in a greater scheme and that scheme is inevitable, why change course when you are so close to achieving your goal?

I'm hoping some of the finer minds on ATS might have a theory about this.

They are now criticizing an angry, power mad, senile, old fool that has no problem with declaring his critics as enemies of your democracy.

He can't beat Gavin Newsom in their primaries and TPTB wil just cancel his meds so he'll be even more of a sad, incoherent mess that he already is.

Why go after Joe, CNN?

In the years after 9/11 there was a big purge among the media and journalists of anyone that questioned the official narrative. There where still some small, independent outlets doing what they can, but as for the bulk of the corporate, MSM dollars is was get on board or get out.

What this has done to the media is change its culture from the 4th estate that helped keep power in check to a weaponized tool of psychological warfare against the population.

I'm still left wondering why CNN is taking a pause for the cause?

Sounds like there has been some musical chairs going on at CNN lately, the new owner wanting to change how pathetic the CNN brand has become.

As for something being off, trying to laugh off how messed up Biden is? They should be calling for his impeachment if really wanting to clean it up.

In time maybe? Keeping things together enough for a somewhat honest mid term election is one way to get things moving in a better direction.

Except the new owner would be savvy enough to realize that CNN has been co-opted by a global entity that appears to be unstoppable.

In their dystopia any form of dissent will be squashed like a bug.

Bank accounts will be frozen.

A crooked judge will deliver his crooked judgement.

These things are already happening in the West.


Why would you break from a totalitarian power ideology by going after a president that's doing a bang up job of bringing the US to its knees?

If the great reset is successful, you will be severely punished and made an example of.

Unless their new approach is scripted, but to what end?

I think Newsom would easily beat him in the next primary, they don't need to point out Joe's flaws and criticize the formula that will only accelerate under Newsom's direction.

I also don't see any other leftist MSM with the same slant which is weird because they usually parrot the same news word for word. Maybe I haven't look hard enough are the other lefty news outlets giving Biden a hard time?

Last time I checked they praised him for declaring half the country terrorists.

When you sell your soul to the devil there comes a time when you have to pay up, that's the time you engage and do everything to claim an invalid contract. But it is too late the deed has been done.

Actually, you have to remember - TPTB play both sides. For example Fox is their vehicle too w Tucker Carlson.

Looks like it was about to move into a new segment? Perhaps that new segment would minimize any concerns the previous segment caused? There isn't much to go on here, but I'm sure they are just addressing the elephant in the room at the moment and the shilling will begin anew momentarily.

According to what I've read on this, corporate sent in a headhunter with very little restraint. They are tired of CNN being known as the Communist News Network and not paying its own bills every month, so his job is to swing that big axe until he brings the network in line with something similar to how FOX operates, except CNN won't pretend to be conservative like FOX does.
They want the network to be......respectable. Stop laughing, I'm being serious.

I have heard rumours, that the Alliance has taken over CNN. Money from white hate billionaires inc Musk and Liberty Media.

Makes sense if we're gonna get X days of 24/7 rolling documentaries, military courts and live executions.

IMO Musk is still of dubious allegiance, but Liberty Media maybe good guys as they were in with Bernie Ecclestone who is a Putin fan and closet Trump fan. IE he may have sold F1 to Liberty Media because of their relationship and known allies.

BUt then again its all 'smoke n mirrors' - 'disinformation is important' and 'we're watching a movie'...

Their ratings were so low, they had to change. It's one thing to give up profits to spread your ideology but they took it too far and no one was watching. No one was left to hear what they had to say.

So they will back track a little to get more viewers. Their smugness will get dialed down, so people don't instantly hate them. A few stories will be produced to make them look neutral, but they will not uncover anything not already known.

Ideology is still there but it will be hidden.

If you don't sympathise with the people on the right they will see right through you.

Which means they will have opinions that resonate with nobody except people wanting to listen to elevator music as the world around them goes down in flames.

Viewership is dependant upon picking a side and identifying with those values.

I think Joe has outlived his usefulness, and they don't have much faith in Kamala, so the big shots on the left are paving the way for post-Biden.

Many of us have asked AT&T to either get rid of embarressing CNN, or cleanup the network.

AT&T is still a towering company with a good reputation as a U.S. icon.

CNN drags them down, in several ways. The ATT board is not happy to be associated with CNN

Halfway through your post, after the "Musk white hate billionaire" bit, I was confused on whether we were talking about CNN or events following A New Hope.

Perhaps you can clarify which metaverse your post pertains to, because it's a bit hard to follow.
