Torres dismissed the indictment against Bannon last May, after Bannon received a presidential pardon in the final hours of Trump's presidency. read more
“Of course, ‘a pardon does not, standing alone, render [a defendant] innocent of the alleged . . . violation,’” Torres wrote in her opinion granting the pardon, noting that Bannon’s pardon also does not “blot out probable cause of guilt. “To the contrary, from the country’s earliest days, courts, including the Supreme Court, have acknowledged that even if there is no formal admission of guilt, the issuance of a pardon may ‘carr[y] an imputation of guilt; acceptance a confession of it.’”
What I think of your post is off topic & a violation of ATS protocol

Biden's DOJ-DHS really wanted that money for the wall!
Seriously, it's an HONOR to be indicted by any authority ran by Biden or Democrats.
Bannon gets double honors. He was also indicted by the DOJ a few months ago for giving the Jan6th commission the middle finger.
That indictment set the stage for future indictments of Democrat Civilians, when Republicans are in control of the House.
Thank-you Steve for your sacrifice!

Innocent until proven guilty.
He hasn't been found guilty of this.
Due to the findings in the 1925 case, Burdick v. United States, it seems as though accepting a pardon is, in fact, admitting guilt.
...
The opinion of the case given by the justices seemed to uncover that 1) a pardon can be given before a conviction and sentence; 2) a pardon can be refused, and 3) acceptance of a pardon implies acceptance of guilt.
