The weird/funny thing is that a lot of clothes today aren’t actually clean. We have all the machines and detergents, but deep down they aren’t clean. That is why a lot of people recommend clothes stripping to get rid of the build up.

Back in the day two things really cleaned clothes, boiling water and the sun. That wouldn’t work on a lot of clothes now because they are plastic! You can boil the heck out of linen & hemp etc. The sun also disinfects and whitens naturally. Most people don’t realize how much the sun can bleach regular clothes.
