This as much as anything is why we are seeing the current political rhetoric. The left is addicted to polling and models, they took their best shots to turn the numbers around and it barely moved the needle. Being bombastic, loud, and angry is all they have "left", remember when everybody said they were tired of an angry bombastic President?

If they can hook or crook mail in voting for "any" reason, they will have both the house and the senate.

Once they have that, they will pass their "Voter Fraud" bill to make mail in voting permanent. This is their most important issue.

I mentioned this back in June. As we get into October, the MSM / Social Media will put out a bunch of fake polling data stating it is close to 50/50 so that they can play off the fraud as within the margin of error.

The point remains all we are hearing is because of the elections and their numbers are seriously behind. There is no damn way they can influence, change or cheat on every congressional seat available. PERIOD

Of course, I don't know but at least this theory has some circumstantial evidence. There was no reason for his speech to be so inflammatory and divisive unless it was to rally thier fading base and to stop losing the moderate middle.

FWIW I'm not too concerned either way, but my default mode has always been if one party has the Presidency the other party needs to control the House, it just works better and limits how much they can actually pass. It's not the best system but history has shown we rarely enjoy giving one side too much control and legislative influence.

OK, I'll bite how exactly would that all go down in 70 days? again once we have established that all politicians' job one is to get re-elected.

Nobody on either side is gonna back to extreme measures, you know from the fringes on both sides. The middle the moderates on both sides are the ones the politicians have to influence.

Scorched earth, riots, or violence will have the opposite effect on the silent majority no matter who starts it. Whichever side resorts to that will lose. Period

I just checked since Eisenhower was President the executive and legislative have been unified 13 times it's been divided 21 times. This is how America operates this swaying back and forth its always been this way but the public didn't have immediate access to every comment or stitch of information immediately, thus now the only way to influence voters is to rile them up. It is all misdirection and theater. Biden is yelling at the sky and is trying to connect to the progressive wing that he has already lost, thus the fire and brimstone.

I would imagine unless last night pops his poll numbers we won't see that kind of stuff again

Seriously what's the chance of anything remotely like that happening, it's very Tom Clancyesque but I'd put its chances of less than 1% of it even being discussed as an option, much less happening.

A smoldering Norfolk naval base isn't going to win anything for the party in power, it's so far from the realm of possibility, there are hundreds of more mundane and normal scenarios likely don't you think?

Not to mention Id like to think somebody would question why that is even an option. I mean Joe can't just say do this I'm the President
