Is conflict preferable to submission?

That isnt just a political question. It is a question of life. If one party seeks to dominate the other, that is the story of life I think - sad as that is, but what is it that happens when one party is beaten down (and yes "we" did beat down others-that isnt so good is it? and what are the others for that matter?) for so long by a more "powerful" party that it no longer even wishes its existence?

Is America a place where we are continually being beaten down until we cease to have the desire to exist culturally? If I shook the magic 8 ball now it would say, all signs point to yes.

How does this happen? Does it take multiple generations? Can it be accelerated? Is it being accelerated? In 500 years will there be any European (white) people? Is that what the world wants? Why does the world want that? Why to people of European lineage seem to be ok with that? Is guilt such a thing in the human animal that it is more powerful than violence? It seems so? Are you guilty? Do all of your progeny need to cease existing because of your guilt? WHat is going on these days? Do you know? DO I know?

Regardless, I fully expect this post to be deleted, because although I haven't said anything against anyone else, questioning things is no longer allowed.

About what I would expect from you. But As a still virile old counter culture fart, I have 3 ex-wives and we are all still friends and lovers. Yes, it does get complicated at times. You can't even imagine the fun we have. I often wonder what those beautiful women see in a balding, myopic, beer gutted, aging hippie. Whatever it is, totally blessed and thank the great spirit for my good fortune every damn day.

Not that you should have to answer, but where do you live and how much money do you make? I am thinking you live in a 6 figure neighborhood (if not more) and make much more than the average person. Maybe I am wrong, but if I am right, it seems to me, knowing rich people as I do, that you are like them. You just don't see or get it. You have no fear for your kind or life because you are safe. But for how long are you safe? And when you cease to be safe do you expect those you scoff at (this is an observation of mine) to defend you just because you have money? Just because up to a certain point they thought you were cool? I have seen some things in life in other countries that proved to me that you are wrong - unless you are at the vary tippy top. If your aren't at the tippy top, you should fear the future just as much as a person like me does. But you probably will not, and actually I cannot blame you because I am sure you have laughed at 40 or so years of nonsense like this, but man, something has changed. it detectable in the air. I can smell it. And even more entertaining you finally have the top of the political class in one party of america declaring war on the other half. I dont know how long it will take for things to get ugly, but man, its about to get ugly. And you are not going to be able to hide from the ugliness. Or maybe you will. Either way, it is amazing we have come to this. I couldn't have imagined it even 5 years ago.

So I take it you think there will be a civil war. I am fortunate like you mentioned, but aware enough to see when things start to heat up. Then I'll be on the first plane to some place tropical and watch the US slide into barbaric, bloody anarchy and chaos on TV in some janky surf bar.

Or if I don't make it out in time, at least it will give me the opportunity to settle some old scores. Let it get ugly!!

I reject the premise of the question, and the limited choices.

Freedom and free will is the only choice for a free people. There is no conflict when no one is forcing their will on others. If others try, then they create conflict, but there is no virtue in submission.

Obviously you've never been in a relationship so daring and adventurous as to try a public venue. It's called a kink.

Self-defense is paramount in MIND and BODY.

Self-respect is necessary to engage in psychic and physical self-defense.

Is your life worth defending? Is your mind worth defending?

People would like to keep their rose colored glasses on and lie to themselves inwardly saying it would never happen to me.

We'd have to be naive children to refuse to accept that it might come to a point of PHYSICAL COMBAT with a PREDATOR or GROUP OF PREDATORS that want to TAKE YOUR LIFE & FREEDOM (and/or your families)......

I for one am prepared, the best I can. No where near as prepared as some people, families, and communities... But for sure I'm more psychologically prepared than the average Joe/Jill.

Conflict in the form of tough love can also be a great thing, as an aside from what I've shared. A lot of people lack the quality to both give and receive tough love. And it's a travesty in my view. Blunt, in your face, hard-core truth can help a person tremendously in life. Sugar coating obvious truths is a weak thing to do in my view.

And you are supposed to be the smart people. And yes, you are a member of the DNC. everyone including yourself knows that.

First off I'm a committed Libertarian and worked on Johnsons campaign back in 2012 and the GOP in 2016. Never voted for biden or trump. I voted for Jo Jorgensen last go round.

And yes I do consider myself smart people. What I learned is that life is much to short to whine about something you have no control over.
