Not in the warrant
Noor were the “gifts” they stole.

But spread crap around…..
They didn’t steal his passports either……

Like the "articles of clothing" that totally didn't come from Melania's closet. They vastly exceeded the scope of the warrant. I can't imagine how the judge could refuse to appoint a special master.

From the warrant:

c. Any government and/or Presidential Records created between January
20, 2017, and January 20, 2021; or

If those gifts were state gifts then they very much belong to the US government.

What universe do you live in where clothing is considered a "record"?
Dude, the FBI just got caught stealing Melania's underwear

You are conviently forgetting the people that ratted him out and the surveillance footage? You know the stuff that had to be redacted as Trump and his team already had calls and messages forwarded to the DOJ because they were tampering with J6 Committee witnesses?

Witnesses that Trump desperately wants to know who they are.

I'll take a shot. I don't know why but the name "Jeff Sessions", former U.S. Attorney General, immediately came to mind.

Or Vindman. He has the security clearance and background.

Clearance doesn't mean anything, it's Need to Know that is important. People don't just have access to classified information at any level, without the need to know.

So in other words, if someone has a need to know, they will be read in and given the clearance.

That is funny
And a easily debunked lie

Not even a nice try

At least you acknowledge the weaponization of NARA

The detailed inventory has been released. We're looking at 20+ classified documents mixed in with unclassified documents. Perhaps more frightening however was the discovery of 43 empty folders with Classified markings. Where are those 43 documents?

Source

Very concerning. Where are the documents? Even if they were not used for nefarious purposes, they were moved? Where? Was he taking them to his other properties? Did he "lose" them somewhere? What about the ones marked "return to staff or military aide"?

No wonder his lawyers objected so hard to this release.

Not just anyone though. Someone with some experience in these kind of things.

I wasn't serious with the Vindman suggestion. I was being sardonic.

Usually when cops lie to get warrants, it gets thrown out.
Usually when cops steal property while executing a warrant, it gets thrown out.
The civil rights violations being cheered on compare to Wallace railing against civil rights, and will be looked upon the same in time.

Pretty nasty business.

Or if it's a gift from another government that belongs to the US Government. Remember when the Saudi's gave the Trumps fur coats? The US Government asked for those coats and other trinkets be officially turned over, about a year later? They found the coats were fake fur knock offs. LOL Yeah right!

LOL -- that's funny.

Yes -- gifts are from government to government. Not personal.

EDIT: hmmmm, do ya think the Trump's switched out the real coats for fake ones?

Depending on who gave the article of clothing to the President, it may very much belong to the US government:

5 U.S. Code § 7342 - Receipt and disposition of foreign gifts and decorations

Please provide a single instance where an entire warrant was thrown out because law enforcement took something not covered by the warrant?

As this is ATS I'll reach a little bit into a theory but Russian Oligarch Viktor Vekselberg had his NY apartment raided a few days ago. The same man who met with Trumps lawyer 11 days before Trumps inauguration. They met 3 times total, including during the inauguration. Cohen was then given a million dollar "consulting" contract. All while he was the President's attorney.

Just a coincidence I'm sure.

Things like classified documents mingled with women's underwear? A lot of people you know do that?

BTW, I wasn't the one who suggested that the unknown articles of clothing found in a storage closet mingled with classified documents were Melania's underwear. They could be Rudy Guiliani's

I read the inventory, did I miss where they supposedly took Melania's underwear?

I mean unless that was the "gift" clothing? I mean the way she looked at Trudeau and Macron, maybe they did send her underwear.

I've read somewhere along the line -- that our government can gift "item" to an individual.

Like, if there's some outfit that's a favorite -- the government can gift it.
