About a week ago, Vice ran a very interesting report about the response of Congress to UAP briefings by the military. It took a couple of days for someone on ATS to make a post on it, and the thread that followed was mostly posts about how awful Vice was and how you couldn’t believe a word they said, or about how corrupt and useless Congress was.

Pathetic.

There is a post in the first page of this thread that made me realize why all governments are working to disclose the UAPs.

If the UAPs don't exist, the governments of the world can't tax them.

There is fee to use a radio. There is a fee to license a craft to fly in an airspace. There is a fee to license a pilot to fly the craft. There is a fee to certify the craft 'airworthy'. The key to this is 'there is a fee'.

The governments only want to expose the UAPs so they can charge them.

Vice was the only place you could find that? I saw notes of it all over. I figured it would be here, so I didn't bother because I've never been into the UFO topic as it's not something I've ever had brushes with myself.

Something really is noticeably weird with the site. The people here are within the "Singularity". It can be seen obvisouly.

$25,000 per month on retainer. I'm paid in cash (tax-free) which comes in a #10 brown envelope and is placed in a private drop box in an undisclosed location. The money comes from a compartmentalized eyes-only black budget line item that has been hidden from Congress for decades. I have a couple of normal "white budget" income streams which insulates me from suspicion because of my lavish lifestyle. My occupation is listed as "consultant."

If the truth were to prevail you would disappear in a puff of smoke which would quickly dissipate into nothingness. Watch your back. Seriously.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive salary. Do you get paid vacation and health insurance too?

"Retainer" means I get paid whether I work or not. It's like being "on call" so "vacation," per se, is a moot point. There are times when I am "busy," but overall they don't work me too hard and I have no complaints. I get health insurance from a Medicare Advantage program for $29 per month through Kaiser Permanente. It has very low deductibles so I'm pretty well covered. I get my assignments through remote viewing so there's no paper trail, or digital trail, for that matter. I studied at the Monroe Institute to learn RV. It was a lot easier than I anticipated.

I was actually recruited via ATS. My solicitation is here for those interested. That was way back in 2007 and they contacted me shortly thereafter, so you are absolutely right that this site is monitored. It's been a wild ride. I've enjoyed it.

Singularity? No chance. I'm married and my wife wont allow me to be single. Ever heard of the saying "birds of a feather flock together". But why do trolls keep trying to get in on the act.

I disagree with most posters on ATS.

I also think that many of its posters cannot reason things out properly.

Especially when they repeat verbatim what others have posted online, with exactly the same grammatical and logical errors (like how they use the word "unprecedented", especially where it is used to describe something that does have precedent, and they then go on to explain that precedent as part of their argument).

ATS seems to be a website accumulating the echoes of significant numbers of social media educated mindless parrots, who think they have an opinion.
