You get to SEE the warrant up front. At the end of the search, you get a copy of the warrant and a receipt for everything that was seized.

You really have no concept of how many thousands of search warrants are executed each year and how professionally experienced the FBI is do you?

These guys are very experienced at getting things right, and would be extraordinarily professional and correct in executing such a high profile warrant.

No wonder Trump cronies are telling folks to cool it - to stop criticizing the DOJ and the FBI. Trump is in real deep doo-doo here.

ALL 11 of the documents seized by the FBI in the August 8th RAID of former President Trump's home had been declassified by President Trump.

“He had a standing order that documents removed from the Oval Office and taken into the residence were deemed to be declassified,” Trump’s office said in a statement to Just The News.

“The power to classify and declassify documents rests solely with the President of the United States. The idea that some paper-pushing bureaucrat, with classification authority delegated BY THE PRESIDENT, needs to approve of declassification is absurd.”

The president and vice president are the ultimate declassifying authority of the U.S. government. Executive orders most recently issued in 2003 by George W. This isn't how this works. This isn't how any of this works.

Often, the very existence of the document can tell an adversary more than the contents of the document - especially if it is SIGINT.

This article was published BEFORE the warrant and the receipt were published. READ IT. It isn't very long but it is VERY RELEVANT.

So when a president, Trump, Biden, whoever, says, I'm just going to declassify this and make the information public, there's a process you have to go through.

Because if that information isn't sanitized, then very likely you are revealing far more then you intend.

There's a PROCESS you have to go through. You don't just wave a magic wand over it and draw a dickpic on it with a Sharpie - that way gets people killed.

2) Classified documents or not it is ILLEGAL for Trump to possess the property of the United States.

He KNEW he had the stolen property and moved it around the clubhouse in an attempt to avoid detection. He stored it in a unsafe manner, and allowed it to be handled by who knows who.

He LIED to the DOJ and the Archives when he said he had turned over all such information, and he stalled and ignored a subpoena to turn over those documents.

3) WHERE is this 'so-called' standing order? WHERE is the schedule of documents that were declassified by such an order?

For any classified document there will be some number of copies, each and every one of them must be located and marked up as declassified.

Each and every 'compartment' that deals with that information must be notified about that declassification.

This is (part of) the process. If no one knows its declassified, then it isn't declassified.

Show us the 'standing order text' and the documentary evidence that such a process was ever carried out for these seized documents.

It is however, yet another propaganda talking point among the many other propaganda talking points plastered all over right wing media in an attempt to find something, anything, that distracts from the ex-President's criminal theft of United States property and willful mishandling of classified material.

I dunno how the whole post got 'big', I was trying to "headline" the first sentence only. Sorry about that.

If you don't believe that the DOJ has NOT made such an announcement, then please, educate us all, and provide a link to the official announcement. I won't bother waiting, because it doesn't exist.

Youre forgiven for the size errors but not the latter!

As fate would have it, i just happened to read your source before you posted it as I too had not heard anything of such from the DoJ.

Although, at this point I do believe they violated Trumps 4th amendment rights and proof is the wide, general nature of the warrant and by the vague or nondescript nature of the receipt.

Innocent until proven guilty.
