I am making no predictions about the future, but those ARE the latest positions the last time photo evidence was released, and it matches intercepted russian calls, and was even reported on russian media.

It even matches the map posted to refute those facts.

I make no predictions about the future, but the fact is that Ukraine recently made deep advances and they are now on the western edge of Kupiansk and are rapidly advancing towards a completely cut off Izyum.

Its all to easy to be drawn into making them though. I used to do the same but then call my cynical if you like i take them with a pinch of salt now and looking beyond that the bottom line becomes if Russia wins it has a headache to manage if it loses the West has one to manage instead, the UKs troubles should give both Moscow and Washington a clue what happens then....

If this was not won/lost in the first few weeks we're looking at issues for (maybe) generations to come..

It's a supeficial cut, like when you cut your finger a bit, a small incision, they will meet resistance as they advance the bulk of the separatist forces that are expirianced fighters, these people will not give their souls to Ucraine.

They decided they don't want the Lion Armpit. They really are the witch people, you can't trust the Atraidees that want your lands because their mother wants to build churches on them.

The great mistake by Putin to think they are Russian people and make a soft spot for them while they kill your people + the people of don bas.

I spend a good deal of effort visually confirming stuff that isn't officially confirmed yet, and I still have to make an effort to avoid future predictions based on those reports.

Could be.

Right now russia doesn't appear to have the forces to properly defend Kupiansk, but they appear to be sending everything they have left from belgorod by truck convoys, at least one of which has already been destroyed by Ukrainian forces that have advanced to the convoy route from the north.

My only prediction is that the next few days are going to see hellish battles in the areas we've been discussing.
