Do you have a quote from the NARA employee that said Trump was cooperating. I know Trump's lawyer says he was cooperating. But I also know that NARA referenced this case to the DOJ in January to determine if any laws were broken.

Yes. Check the flow chart. FBI is under the DoJ. DoJ is under the POTUS. Because the POTUS is the Executive Branch, it carries out the law.

The FBI has been in possession of Hunter's laptop for three years. Which means they had it while Trump was President. If there was any evidence of illegality on our, why did Trump's FBI not arrest him?

That is an example of "Whataboutism".

"Whataboutism" allows us to ignore past examples and precedent while we only focus on the cases with think are important. It maters little that a past crime occurred and went unpunished so long as the person we want to see persecuted is found guilty.
