The FBI raiding Trump and somehow barring him from holding office in the future is a major win for the GOP.
I know many here really “like” Trump - and by like I mean worship the man as the only potential savior of the US. You are the minority, if that’s you. Outside of the sycophants who worship him, he’s politically dead.
Taking Trump off the table opens the door for Desantis. This is a good thing.
Do you love Trump more than you hate the Biden Admin/progressive s show the country is turning into? Most probably don’t.
Let Trump go. He had his moment. GOP has to look forward the next candidate they can bring forward, build them up, and beat the Dems in 2024.
The blind love for the orange man is why the GOP lost in 2020. Don’t put a loser back on the ticket - you’ll lose - and the GOP needs to win.
GOP should be thankful for this gift from the FBI.

To everyone claiming this is some egregious event, will you still feel that way if the FBI announces they found what they were looking for? Or do you believe that Trump, the self-dubbed Law & Order President, is above the law?
Let's be honest, no judge is going to sign a search warrant for the residence of a former President without being presented with ironclad probable cause.
A good number of us have been super consistent on that if he broke the law, arrest his ass. Now, why aren't you the same way? No integrity?
Wait…
So you’re saying arrest Trump if he did something wrong? Like pack off 15 boxes of classified information?

Trump stopped being an authorized person on January 20th, 2021. He is no longer a government employee. He no longer has his Presidential security clearance. So under what law is he allowed to still have access to classified documents?

if it's against the law, and warrants jail time, yes, arrest him. And remember, nobody is above the law.

All men are supposed to be equal under the law. Unless there's a law somewhere in the USC that I missed that codifies a former President having legal immunity, why should Trump not be held to the same standard as you or me?
This site always complains about the being a two-tier justice system, except when it comes to Trump. Then they demand one.

You’re actually the first right winger I’ve heard say that. I’m wearing a surprised face right now.
Sure we shouldn’t defund the police like Republican leader MTG said?
You understand he could declassify what he chooses as potus?

The FBI has been in possession of Hunter's laptop for three years. Which means they had it while Trump was President. If there was any evidence of illegality on our, why did Trump's FBI not arrest him?

When asked in an interview with "CBS Evening News" anchor Norah O'Donnell if he thought Trump should receive an intelligence briefing if he requested one,
Biden said, "I think not." "I'd rather not speculate out loud," Biden said when asked what he fears could happen if Trump continued to receive the briefings. "I just think that there is no need for him to have the -- the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?"
Biden says Trump should no longer receive classified intelligence briefings
defund the police is owned 100% BY ASSHOLE DEMOCRATS.
And you haven't been paying attention, many of us have stated that if Trump or anyone else breaks the law, they need to be arrested,
then we usually say something about unequal justice, and point to crimes that others did and were ignored,

Even if they were there prior to leaving office, he was notified shortly after leaving office they would need to be turned over to NARA. It took nearly a year before the 15 boxes were turned over and apparently that still wasn't everything.

Republicans rail against the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago, calling for the FBI to be destroyed and defunded

Looking through the threads on this, many is the wrong word.

So more whataboutism.
Gotcha.

LOL, reaching this far will hurt badly when you fall, and you will.
quick question, is the FBI supposed to be Apolitical, or working for one specific party? Careful how you answer.
Unless LOE or the DOJ have the evidence needed to purp walk a president to a jail cell in short order than they should not be raiding his/her home. Its that simple.
