Initially I thought it was a Red state / Blue state thing, but then I realized I live in a blue state, so that theory is shot.

I'm in a college town. 5g covers the entire area. no issue here with plant growth. Like I said before even the sprouts that are way out of season have gotten up to 2-3 feet tall.

I really don't think 5g has anything to do with it.
It's the change in climate most likely.

I don’t think it is 5g either because I don’t believe we have it in our area yet.

Our area is very lush during the growing months. We have natural water everywhere. We live in a climate where it is very cold during the long winter, we have a short spring and then a very hot summer. Almost anything can grow during our summer. We have fertile soil, plenty of water and warm humid weather. I’ve noticed that native plants are doing great, tropical plants are great, only veggies are

I’ll have to talk to some of the farmers here to see if they have experienced anything different.

Admittedly I don't have any experience and this is purely anecdotal, but are vegetable stand at the farm here north of Atlanta has a decent crop, tomatoes are good, cucumbers, okra, corn, etc.

My sister does a bit of backyard gardening and honey and she sounds like they have had a better year than past ones. Again admittedly she has only done this for 10 years or so.

Besides just exactly how could the nefarious PTB achieve near unison failure of seeds? seeds from heirloom that grew fine in past years?

Open to the idea, but it's more plausible if we can begin to theorize how can they make this happen.

the south east sits on a massive chalk & greensands aquifer which coincidentally is also where all the O&G is.. my suspicion that is as reason JPMorgan brought southern water for extraction rights if they can call a prolonged drought..

as for crops some are really thriving but the reality gets lost in the murky nature of the politics..

You have no clue how bad it is my friend… no clue..

There is a seed war going on. I’m not even joking.

Farmers face lawsuits if they try to save and replant the genetically modified seed because they don't own the technology. While they bristle at that, they love the Roundup Ready seed.

Back when I lived in florida I had a lot more trouble growing things. The heat was part of it but when it wasn't hot it rained to much. But I believe that another issue came from the mosquito poison they drove up and down the roads spraying every week. mosquito are pollinators and that poison they spray ,i'm sure, killed more than just the mosquito.
And I mean that literally . they spray ever week. Didn't matter if kids got a good lung full each time ether. I hated it.

They don't do that here. yes the mosquito population is high but I'm also seeing much more diversity in other insects.

Florida sucks.

Yes I lived in Florida and remember the truck sprayers.
I lived there for several years and don’t remember seeing a single mosquito though!!

Crazy, right? I'm almost kinda sorta jealous!

It occurs to me tho that we have been having trouble with black widows. Even in the garden. I found one that was as big as a silver dollar. I suppose they could be eating the usual pests.

I bet you don't want those 😅

certainly not jealous of that.. the mosquitoes here are way down on normal, but we're high on horse and sand flies and i have seen many more native black bees and an increase in seeing the rare violet carpenter bees which seem to love sweet peas.. very poor year for sweet peas though

Well that's kind of similar to my experience, some things thriving, others quite the opposite.

Politics is broken imho and by design no less.

Everything is doing pretty well here.

Maybe you're just not taking into account that the seasons aren't changing when they used to. Summer is starting earlier every year.

You need to plant things a little earlier, and to irrigate more.

If you're growing form your own seed stock, you shouldn't have any problems, and chemtrails are a myth.

Can't allow people to grow seeds if the great reset is gonna be successful.

You're confusing the Great Reset with the NWO.

The NWO wants to end local farming, and to have everything done by mega-corporations.

The Great Reset is the dissolution of the mega corporations and having things done locally.

One is ultra capitalist, the other is socialist-utopian.

just walking around the garden the courgettes, tomatoes, beetroots are doing well, as is my Spanish flag, rudbeckia and sunflowers, the sweet peas, onions, leaves like lollo rosso are suffering..

talking of insects I live in wetlands and while still really wet the mossies are noticeable by their absence as are the horse flies by their bites, lots more butterflies this year especially cabbage whites, peacocks and gatekeepers.

what is noticeable is having the clean windscreens of insects I've not really had to do that in more than a decade..

My sunflowers came up weird as well, still tall but with somewhat malformed flowers.

And I'm still waiting on a few to bloom.

A few years back we had the wee ant-type thingamabobs with wings materialize in numbers i ive never seen before, and in the middle of summer with every window open, well you can imagine.

Was biblical if memory serves, still waiting on the frogs all the same.

As an experienced grower I always take the seasons into account. If I planted things earlier here everything would be dead. There are off years in growing. Even apple trees have an on year and a off year. This is not what I’m talking about.
Also irrigation is not an issue. We have plentiful rain, and well water here.

Other than an 80 yr old farmer I don’t think very many are as experienced as I am when it comes to growing.
I have agricultural roots in my blood. I’ve had a garden since I was 6 yrs old. Im not talking about my mom and dads garden, I’m talking about my own that I was solely responsible for. I’ve won awards. I’ve taught gardening on a small and large scale. I’ve sold gardening plans, photos and plants. I’ve been part of and have run gardening clubs. I’ve been in the newspaper for my gardens. So I can confidently say I know how to grow stuff even in the best and worst conditions.

Yes I believe climate change is real. I watch forecasts, measure ground temps and like everyone else sometime take a good guess when sowing seeds. The real test will be to see if next year is similar. If so I’ll know that something is really off.

Also when I hear from people that have been gardening for 50 years and this is the worst year they have ever had, something is off. Because this is my life’s passion I’m a lot more entrenched in this topic than most, and maybe that is what is alarming me. When I keep hearing the same story.
Everyone has bad and good growing years, but to hear from so many long long time growers that this is their absolute worst…

lol, strange it does feel like that though, family are Christian cunning folk and all complain of ominous feelings though recalling the seas of ladybirds in 70s Brighton it all looked biblical to child me, though this i have to agree has the ominous edge.

Yeah you can keep those. I have some giant spiders in my garden though. Harmless but huge. there's this big green spider that lives on the sunflowers.
this year I have been seeing more kinds of beetles. Big black ones the internet said would harm the plants so i kill those. But also these shiny fat green ones. Internet says those will eat other pests and wont harm my plants so they get to stay. Then there's the tiny brown ones. Not sure if those do any damage or not.
The only pest that is doing my garden any harm though are the moths. But it's not so bad. I think they other insects are balancing it out. I really like the growing environment in sc vs florida.
but the real difference between here and florida are all the bees/flys. So many kinds and colors and shapes.
I could watch them all day.

Oh we also get thousands of fireflies. Really bright ones. They even glow with a steady green light when their not flashing brightly.
