Sex - Why the control

Sex is natural just about everything on the planet has some sort of sex to reproduce or even pleasure .

So I ask why do Humans or at least the ones in control doing the teaching want to control what sex is What is the ?

In some states it's even illegal to have certain types of sex

Age limits
Where it can take place
How it should take place
only do it when married
Whatever you do do not show anything in public even tho guys can go topless

What gain is it to control sex to make it seem like you are doing something wrong even in the best situations .

OMG a teacher had sex with a 16 year old Why is sex so taboo even tho the rest of the world will stop and hump at anytime and anyplace .

I know the get a room attitude but just when in humanity did we decide it was something on the gross side and needed laws ?

Control the Sex and you control the people doe's it all stem from religion or does it run deeper ?

To stop people from having sex with children and animals. To outlaw forced sex (rape). To make sex trafficking illegal, as well as incest. In other words, to protect people and animals.

They may have gone a little overboard, but there is still a need for laws- too bad the punishment never fits the crime.

We've become a highly sexualized society, centered on catering to animalistic instincts, good or bad. Those who have studied history know how this will end, but they're mostly older people and will be gone from this earth soon.

It goes back to Adam and Eve in some people's view , and there was some kind of shame they felt , they covered up their bits .

That's what laws are for, discouragement .
In the quran which also does polygamy its said don't touch your neighbours because you start something that might lead to really bad results , like murder. That's the wise side of needing laws norms values morals, whatever they are , sometimes.

Even nature controls sex.

Most every animal only wants it when they are in season, meaning their internal hormones come into play. The rest of the time, they don't care for the most part. They may live in societies controlled by sex imposed roles, but they aren't having sex anytime they feel like it.

Yep sex is natural and the way to ensure the continuation of the species and we humans have good fortune to enjoy while having sex, but sex can be use for domination and exploitation.

Especially when children and other none humans are involved.

That is not natural and is not healthy for the victims.

There are a few things that distinguish humans from the rest of the animal kingdom. You are, apparently, unaware of this. Given that fact, it seems to me that trying to explain any of this to you would be a futile endeavor.

ETA: I will add this: The "control" issues that you mention mostly come into play when humans forget that we are not fundamentally the same as street dogs in heat. When individuals are unable or unwilling to exercise self-control, somebody or something will come in to fill the void.

If it were to be sociologically categorised you might call that idea creationist functionalism.

It's been a bastion of conservatism , that idea , for many years. It has become so ingrained with legal social economic and political consequences that it has become more than an innocent concept . It's developed to be a basis for entitlements and hence abuses. To be a burdensome pest upon freedom.

That perhaps is what the op alludes to , trying to dig that controlling and out of proportion aspect into the light for better inspection.
To relegate it , perhaps retard it , and stop people going to silly vicars altars to make vows they won't keep that bind them where they didn't expect bindings.

Sex usually requires some sort of intimacy on some level. Many are scared of human intimacy and want to CONTROL the behavior of others. "It's in the Bible" is reason enough for the control oriented segment of the population.

Children need good, solid role models of both sexes in their developmental lives. Children with mom and dad tend to enjoy better outcomes in all categories. And it isn't just humans that have this effect. All higher order mammals at least have complex social structures that the young need to be socialized into in order for proper social development to occur. This often includes both males and females in some form or fashion.

Historically, a lot of controls were put in place so that a man could be reasonably sure that the children that he's raising are his, (No sex outside of marriage, no adultery, and so on) or not having children that you can't support yourself (Having children outside of marriage, having children too young)

Most of the rest are faith based requirements that either relate to the above, or they place restrictions on sex as it pertains to lust.

Actually, this one tends to swing wildly depending on the politics of the day.

Generally speaking, one side gets outraged when the other side does something involving whatever the subject matter is, and this flips a few years later down the line.

There are also some things that defy conventional wisdom. For example, predominantly conservative southern states still have child marriage laws on the books, and have a culture of holding highly sexualized child beauty pageants where children are dressed up as adults and then paraded around in a way that the more liberal northern states would consider exploitative.

It does so two parents is preferable to one, but you still need role models from both sexes ideally. Like I said, it does actually carry on through to the animal kingdom. Some things are cultural in preference, but not everything is.

It would seem that much of humanity no longer can or cares to be included with the higher order mammals.

Actually I think siblings are more important or at least as important as Mom and Dad. Every "only child" I've met has issues.
