U.S. Food and Drug Administration added a warning to gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists, commonly known as “puberty blockers,” indicating there were serious risks for youth who take them.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) identified six cases in females between the ages of 5 and 12, who were taking GnRH agonists, which presented “a plausible association between GnRH agonist use and pseudotumor cerebri.”

Pseudotumor cerebri, also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension, occurs when the pressure inside your skull spontaneously increases, which can cause brain swelling, severe headaches, nausea, double vision, and even permanent vision loss, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Florida Department of Health spokesman Jeremy Redfern, whose agency updated its guidelines earlier this year to restrict minors from obtaining gender transition therapies, told Fox News Levine’s claim that “every major medical association” agrees offering so-called “gender-affirming care” saves kid’s lives “isn’t data.”

“It’s an appeal to authority that is in stark contrast to the best available evidence,” Redfern insisted to Fox News. “The [Florida] Department of Health is following the evidence. The federal government is following the eminence.”

Puberty blockers, such as Lupron (which is used to castrate sex offenders) and others, are used to suppress the natural onset of puberty in children. They are referred to in the medical field as gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) substances. Recently, their use on children that are supposedly ‘trans’ has come under scrutiny.

And, for the record, they are most certainly not ‘completely reversible.’

Is it just me that feels there is no legitimate elective reason to use puberty blockers? I struggle to think of an actual medical reason…

I experienced gender dysphoria briefly twice in my life.

The first time when when I was eight and I wondered if I was really a boy, because I enjoyed Hot Wheels, electronics and playing war games in the neighborhood with the other boys.

My mom explained that I was what they called a Tomboy and it was completely normal to have interests outside of the traditional babydolls and barbies.

They never forced "roles" on me.

So I listened to mom and thought, "Oh, ok. I'm normal and it's ok to be this way." and moved on to other interests.

When the second wave hit it was more intense and stemmed from a desire to be taken seriously, because the group I was hanging out with would frequently dismiss my contributions and ideas and turn matters back to "male topics".

So I kind of had this passing curiousity of whether or not my sex was really a defining factor in social relationships.

I have kind of gender nonspecific features, what they used to call a "handsome woman" and when I was traveling for protection I frequently went out of my way to dress as gender nondescript as possible for my safety.

I have been called "dude" and mistaken for being a guy more times than I can count, and it never phased me and I just rolled with it.

The dysphoria passed because the idea of mutilating my body and undergoing surgery just seemed ridiculous to me.

I don't understand the current trend and fad of these "woke" parents.

Instead of being rational people and explaining to their children that it's completely normal to think a certain way and getting them to understand, cope with and accept the physical realities of their birth, the immediately resort to chemicals and surgeries.

It's baffling to me.

The sheer amount of regretful transition testamonies available out there should be more widely publicized.

I wish I understood the dynamics of this agenda and the throngs of people buying into it.

If you find a kids estrogen or testosterone out of wack wouldn't the proper course be try to level them out to norms instead of going the complete opposite way? I realize this may not be the only thing that leads to gender dysphoria, but it seems like a logical first step.

Actually the goal is to groom kids, since they have no idea about their identity until they get older. But if you groom them when they are young you can brainwash them into identifying as a giraffe. Then you use puberty blockers and all sorts of drugs to destroy their physiology and future identity. If my job was to destroy a country and I wanted to work on destroying the culture, this is exactly what I would do.

I think you may need to work on your tactics, Nukes/chemical weapons or traditional combat would easily destroy a country quicker than the method you are suggesting, i bet the total number of people taking such a drug is less than 1% of the population *, its going to take a while at those rates
