It’s not my little fantasy
Europe know they don’t have any options, hence they pay for Russian energy in Rubles, adding strength to the Russian economy and eroding the US dollar
Fantasy, this is no fantasy, the fantasy is Europe replacing Russian energy in any supply
All I see is a person saying “Qatar” “ Libya” having no concept of international trade agreements and supply as if that’s not some Eurocentric fantasy

Under two years ago, same thing happened in China with Australian coal.
That wasn’t a fantasy either
Chinese industry had to shutdown and rolling energy outages throughout the country

Fantasy?

Over the next decade, how successful Western Countries are concerning quitting Russian energy will unfold. The competency of successive governments/the quality of governance, and not the requirement for Russian oil and gas, will decide the outcome.

China is sitting on the sideline, awaiting the fate of Ukraine and Putin's regime. If, after military and political defeat in Ukraine, Putin's government is weakened or Russia falls into a second Civil War, China might invade Siberia under the guise of liberation. Ironically, such a move would unify Russia against the Chinese invaders and probably Putin or the existing tyrant's rule.
