Just heard on the news that Russia is going to divest itself from the ISS and just build their own.

So I guess it will become the haunted house of space stations as visits become far and few in between?

I have no idea Augustus yet from memory the Chinese are building something to take rooks of Russian gas.

Link? There is little to no active construction on Russia to China gas/oil transportation infrastructure.

Ha! You're 100% correct and I just checked up on it. Thought it was a real one but probably just dreamt it or something lol. Bit hot at work today. Appologies for the nonsense

I seem to remember reading either late last year or early this year (pre Ukraine mess) that Russia was leaving the ISS team anyway due to it coming to the end of it's service life.
China is building it's own orbital research platform so I expect Russia may be invited to partner on that endeavour.

Gas and oil supplies from russia have gone up 3 fold and to India 6 fold. They don't seem to have problems with transit.

Context, when the supply not going to Europe is 10% then increasing the amount to India (which is a small portion of that 10%) to 3 times it's amount it isn't that big of a deal.

Old baldy supervillain Schwab reckons the high fuel prices are not high enough and wants further rises, something I am sure his willing helpers infesting most Western governments will be aiming for.
Makes the Russia / Ukraine situation nothing but a sideshow, a distraction and useful scapegoat for what they had planned for us anyway.

Part of their NWO plan from the start. Covid was supposed to happen simultaneously w Russia/ Ukraine but Trump got too many votes the first time around for them to anticipate a Hilary steal and Putin didn't want to risk the global agenda by poking Trump. He bid his time and it is paying off... As these things unfold it is becoming more and more evident that Russia, China and the US are all playing the same game and on the same team while they pretend to "hate" each other on T.V

BEIJING — China and Russia are in the final stages of building the first pipeline that can send gas from Siberia to Shanghai.

“Power of Siberia” — as the portion located in Russia is called — began delivering natural gas to northern China in December 2019, according to Chinese state media.

In China, the pipeline runs down the eastern side of the country, past the capital city of Beijing and down to Shanghai. The middle phase started operations in December 2020, and the final southern section is set to begin gas deliveries in 2025, state media said.

State-owned energy companies, Russia’s Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp., have been building the pipeline for about eight years.

The China-Russia pipeline comes as Moscow faces the threat of losing natural gas purchases from the European Union, a big customer that aims to cut two-thirds of its Russian gas imports in the wake of the Ukraine war.

www.cnbc.com...

I read another article where a bunch of energy experts on a panel debated the effectiveness of the sanctions and it seems that most agreed that Russia started sanction-proofing its economy in 2014.

The gamble right now is if the EU/NATO countries will be able to make it through the winter without some caving. Everything is dependent on all the nations standing in solidarity. The panel seemed very optimistic. Overly optimistic IMO.

Already moving towards other countries in Asia.

Let me know when Europe becomes part of Asia and is a new market.

BRICS nations which include India (part of Asia) are looking at creating their own reserve currency. I know you are aware of that. It is likely that other nations, like those in south Asia and the middle east, will join them since they have great interest in destabilizing the USD. If they succeed Europe will need to play along or suffer the consequences of not having reserve currency to rely on for international trade.

Good for them and totally irrelevant to building a pipeline that currently doesn't exist to move gas that flows at a 90% rate currently from Russia to Europe.

Any more non sequiturs?

When this Ukraine/Russia spat is done and done, Russia will offer the EU, "A Deal They Can Not Refuse", and the Nord Stream spigot will be turned back on as if nothing had happened. I guarantee it.

If the EU makes significant investiture into migrating away from Russia gas they aren't going back.

Even if they don't make major investments they see the result of doing business with them and it's not reassuring.

This is the scenario that I'd consider most plausible.

Or europe and the western leaning countries will have their own and stop trading with the BRICS nations. Another split of cultures. And if Saudi arabia wants to do well and survive they best stick with the US,cause the chinese and russians will try to take them over.

Germany has a huge surplus and a massive cash reserve, they aren’t running out any time soon. Also Europe has the backing of the U.S. so no worries. Russia is extremely poor by comparison.

Because we all know the US is financially secure
Who is Europe going to buy gas from?
The EU manufacturing industry will crawl along like China’s did when they stopped Australian coal, the EU will cut their own throats without Russian energy supplies

Where are the EU going to get energy from, solar?

Russia is probably the cheapest and most convenient supply of gas but it's a far cry from their only option. Qatar, Libya and many other countries could play a roll. President Trump has warned of this scenario years ago, it's about time they start making the switch.

I'm going with the former.

As to being on the move, well they cant do convoys never mind carry out blitzkrieg and their supply lines are laughable, so there is that.

How, it’s not like they can just divert their energy supplies from nothing
Europe will need a lot of energy and quickly
Qatar sells to Asia, what just cut off Asia to supply Europe, just like that and transport?
Just can’t say, Libya and Qatar can supply Europe with a few words and then as if by magic it happens

Do you think that if Russia cut them off they would all just die? You don't think they would come up with something?

Let me tell you what would happen if Russia just cut them off without warning. WAR. And Russia would be no more. Even if they didn't do anything to Russia it wouldn't matter because it would be an economic blunder on the part of Russia and Russia's economy would collapse.

Therefore knowing these things, the chance of Russia cutting their gas supply to Europe is almost zero. But go ahead, have fun with your little fantasy.🤣
