even the breeze feels like a hair dryer.

Good description , I was in a vehicle with no aircon today so had the windows open and that's exactly how it felt.

Human-stupidity related but,

All it takes to start a grass fire in an open field is a clear, sunny day, low humidity, dry grass,

And an empty clear glass bottle left behind as someone's litter.

The glass bottle acts like a magnifying glass and starts the grass burning.

It's a rare occurrence, but it can happen.

Reading your posts, and the one a couple of posts above you from DerBeobachter, I realize that there is a lot of logic, and truth, in both.
The thing is (for me personally at least, I don't know for anyone else), I should know those things by now. And I do, but I keep getting sidetracked and forget, for a while, what it's actually all about. Mostly by the media.
I'm perfectly aware that what is most important, is not even talked about. I'm aware of fearmongering as a tactic, and yet I fall for it!
I looked it up and DerBeobachter is right, we did have the same weather back in 2006, it was the first summer I worked in my store and bought myself an air-conditioner, but everything was fine, there were no red flashing warnings, people weren't scared and the south of Europe burned as well back then. The summer went by without people complaining or anyone thinking anything strange of it.

so next time you hear me yelling 'we are all gonna die!!!!!!' feel free to give me a pinch and wake me up!

That's the type most used in Portugal.

In fact, it's not unusual for us to have those temperatures in Portugal in August.

Even if they aren't record breaking temperatures, the fact that is a sudden change is enough to create problems for the more fragile people.

And the deaths caused by the heat will not happen on the first hot day, they will probably happen two days after the hottest day.

I'm Scottish, i wear T-shirts in 10c winter days. I suppose eventually i would acclimatise but i'd rather not.

I don't even enjoy hot weather on holiday.

Meanwhile where I am in Australia we had our coldest day in over 20 years recently.

The coldest winter in like 35 years...

More fires tend to pop up when they start being publicised.

This happened in Australia summer 2019.

yes, every time something like this happens, some suffer because of it, I'm not denying that.

Don´t get me wrong, my post was not even specifically addressed to you. Let me explain. If i read the news several times a day sometimes i get that angry because of all that goof that i just have to write it down and to explain to others, from a german perspective (so we can see that the Great Reset machinery works exactly at the same time with exactly the same moves in those of hostile WEF agents suffering former nations), how we are fooled and why. Because these BS attempts are so cheap and transparent that they insult the little bit of intelligence thats left in my head.

I didn´t mean you with yelling "we are all gonna die" but i meant that propaganda machinery including WEF-Climate Chucky and those "climate activists" who function at the push of a button for Great Reset and Green New Deal. As you admitted, you just were overrun with all that BS propaganda and this is nothing anybody has to wonder or feel bad about. Because that propaganda machinery works for 24/7/365 on all channels. Sometimes one really could forget for a while that 99.99% of the official BS is simply that, BS. And that we meanwhile need to question really everything that is propagated.

Because if they only wish a good day or a good night, even that is a effing lie, they don´t care not a bit about us.

Hottest I've ever seen is 46C in Melbourne about 15 years ago, hottest day on record there I believe.

It's a summer heatwave get over it. Maybe it's a degree or 2 hotter because global warming not exactly the end just yet lol.

As another poster said these days in the MSM everything is climate change apparently, every fire, storm, flood, drought, heatwave. Because we never had any of that stuff before did we... It's getting hysterical and ridiculous.

Hot and cold records are recorded quite a lot, but this one is in London so it's big news. Cold records get little attention but hot records OMG it's the end!

your post was a well written wake up call, I knew it wasn't a response to my previous posts but I knew right away that I was doing exactly that, yelling 'were all gonna die' because I let the media get to me.
Since 2019 the world is so chaotic that it takes lesser each year to trigger people into a panic mode.

The funny thing is, when it comes to covid and the booster shots, I'll be the first to say 'don't believe the story they tell you on tv', while on other topics I blindly believe whatever they say, while I know damn well how the propaganda system works!

The images with the red weather maps are an excellent example of that... They use the same tactic with covid maps. My town uses blue and green colors and it's a lot less intimidating.
