In Alabama, a court commuted the sentence of Alvin Kennard, who was sentenced to life in prison for stealing $50 from a bakery. Served only 36 years of that term

Starlin had people murdered.

Just because he didn't like them.

So you're equating the miscarriage of justice that was the Alvin Kennard case with the imprisonment for 7 years of a local Russian politician for speaking his mind against the official line on the war ? , as they are both miscarriages of justice I guess we agree.

In Russia, there is no criminal liability for the expressed opinion. In Russia, there is criminal liability for treason to the motherland, discrediting the army by creating fakes and propaganda of a state at war with the country.

And by the way, you asked Elvin Kennard's own opinion about "miscarriage of justice"? Life imprisonment for circling $50 is a pretty clear verdict.

Churchill killed people, Thatcher killed people, Major killed people, Blair killed people, Cameron killed people, May killed people, Johnson killed people...
And how many people were killed by English kings and queens just because they were Welsh, Scots, Irish, French ..... The list is endless.

And who decides what is fake and propaganda about the state of the war ? ... oh yeah those who are waging it.

You may want to edit your post RT as you said "war" and not "special operation" , I hear that can get you put in prison.

And as a by the way to your by the way have you asked Alexei Gorinov how he feels about being imprisoned for speaking out over the war (sorry , special operation) ?

This is decided by the court. Is it different in Britain?

You missed out the big one from your list. The Napoleonic Wars 1803-15.

And the War Of 1812 of course.

The irony is the information is from a UK Source, perhaps acknowledging those events made for a cup of bitter tea.

Yes , our courts aren't politically controlled.

The list is endless. And it includes Russian instigators.

So before people start calling out injustices carried out by other countries, they need to look at their own record.

Otherwise, they will be labeled as hypocrites. Don't you agree ?

That is, when you write about Stalin, you are a "fighter for the truth." And when others write about English rulers, they are instigators and hypocrites.
That's what I wrote about in this thread.

Julian Assange and I laughed for a long time.

We have an extradition agreement with the US and Julian's case is ongoing , if our courts were politically controlled he would be sitting in a US prison right now instead of appealing the decision again.

More whataboutisms RT.

All I see in this thread of yours is lame Russian paranoia "The World hates us because we're Russian"......especially us Brits apparently.

Sure, our respective governments have been engaged in years of plot and counter-plot against each other.
Sadly it seems that's par for the course with governments of all types and nationalities.
Russia has been a full and active participant in these petty games of intrigue.....you're no better, possibly even no worse, than any other country.

Stop with the 'nobody loves us' paranoia.....its boring and tedious.

You interpreted what i wrote in completely the wrong way.

As said, no country has a clean bill of health, including England. Therefore don't you need to sort your own problems out first before taking aim at others.

Well ?

Thank you for the vivid confirmation of my thought in this thread. You are truly "civilized" people who hate other, more successful people fiercely, as well as on racial, religious and national grounds. Hitler probably also considered himself "Freeborn".

And in reality, you are not "the whole world" at all, but just a bunch of idlers on an isolated island, talking about their "exceptionalism" over beer in pubs.
Farewell.

Then why did you suddenly write about Stalin? Then be consistent.

I don't hate anyone RT; hate is a dangerous thing.....it eats away at the soul.

I certainly have no hatred for the Russian people - or the people of any nation for that matter.

Our respective governments have taken part in their games of espionage, claim-and-counterclaim and outright propaganda for a very long time now.
I've never bought into the 'Russian people are bad' bollocks.
Most Russian people I have met have been likeable, easy to engage with and have a good sense of humour.

But you seem to be increasingly under the impression that there is some sort of rampant anti-Russian fervour raging through the UK, EU and even further; there isn't.

Why on earth have you brought Hitler into the conversation?
What has he got to do with anything relating to this topic?

Along with this creeping paranoia you also now seem to be just plucking random thoughts and assumptions etc out of thin air.

You are far better than this.

It's Vodka o'clock Freeborn, it's become rather predictable and unhumourous really.

Trip over, orders received, mission initiated and propaganda pushed. It's rather intriguing though to watch ya know. The abject xenophobia pushed as opinion with a side of contempt, racism and bigotry towards other Slavs, particularly the Poles. The Russians really hate the Poles going back for almost a half a millennium. And to be fair, many Poles I've spoke to feel pretty much the same way about Russians. Now many of the younger generations of Russians and Poles have kinda started to move away from that as the internet has spread and people can genuinely interact with people of other cultures and see our similarities are much greater than our differences.

And don't forget the gays. Russians don't want to be catching that Gay, very dangerous, very deadly and doesn't wash off. Once you catch it, it's game over.

I think it was yourself who raised the question of unjust.

Was Starlin unjust with his action ?

You appear to be on some type of moral crusade with what has gone on around the world throughout history. As i stated you may need to look closer to home as a starting point.
