And the Swedish air-force will be a welcomed boon to an already vastly superior NATO combined air power.

As to the Finnish Defense Forces, active military personnel is a modest 23,000, but the country boasts a wartime strength of 280,000 if they implement conscription.

And what do you imagine gets mounted on their borders once NATO reinforces the nations?

Do you really think Russia can defend against a border twice the size it was before Finland and Sweden join NATO whilst fighting in Ukraine?

Because if you do you really should realize Russia are not the Warsaw pact nor anything reminiscent of such, in a conventional war combined NATO forces would wipe the floor with them sharpish and in no time flat.

War is not just the numbers , quality does matter also with personel and equipment, and of cource the united spirit to defend the land.

Did not fare to well? Finland had to pay a huge amount of war reparations + Lost important land. And tell me what will be mounted on the border? The line is a rotted picket fence surrounded by dense forests.

And with the loss of Petsamo, Finland lost its only chance at getting a piece of natural oil and gas resources. No big deal right?

Ukraine has been bombing Donetsk civilian centers. There is no abvancing force there. There is no military presence there aside from their EOD that dissarms unexploded ordinance fired at unarmed civilians every day. They are not targeting the military. They are targeting civilians, fire stations, bus terminals, universities, apartment buildings, kindergartens, high schools, nurseries, hospitals, and residential areas but is all AOK with you because you love Ukrainian terrorists as long as they work for the west and the liberal world order.

You post that Ukraine has been bombing civillian centres but don't want to admit that your hero Mad Vlad and his troops have been shooting civillians and targeting civillian centres since this messy war started and have been using terror as a weapon to fight the Ukrainians since before the invasion.

Here is a question for you. When NATO destroyed the sovereign nation of Lybia what were you doing? How about the sovereign nation of Iraq? Why are we supporting terrorists in the sovereign nation of Syria or supplying weapons to Saudi as they bomb the sovereign nation of Yemen?.........

Where's the damage that this shell caused? That location in the video looks pristine. The houses are untouched, the tree is untouched. We just see an arm that could be fake for all we know. The whole thing reeks.

Get some perspective, folks. We're all being lead down the garden path with this whole thing. Every shortage on the planet is being blamed on this conflict. I never knew that Ukraine apparently supplies the whole world with wheat and Russia with oil but there you go. That's what has caused all of this. Russia is nobody without China's financial backing. China has almost 10 times the population of Russia. Russia is China's vassal state. Putin wouldn't have attacked Ukraine without nod from China. Ukraine pissed China off by nationalizing Motor Sich after China paid the money to buy it and not compensate 1 cent. For this Ukraine pays the price.

Are you sure because permafrost covers more than 60% of the Russian land.

With just over 7% of Russia's land being arable.

60% of which is used for cropland and the remainder for pastoral purposes.
