It’s just a quick check into if you can post truth. On a web site people can admit when their own governments F up, want their governments held accountable. VS the Putin cheerleaders that cannot answer simple questions. Ignore and justify Putin lies, propaganda, and war crimes.

Thank you for establishing your too biased when it comes to Putin / Russia to be credible.

Calm down please. You won, Putin is defeated. You don't have to be so nervous.

So why not just give everyone a say and let the majority decision stand where any and all things are concerned as opposed to possibly some poor sod unqualified to judge?

Because like in court of law the issues need to be carefully examined with experts consulted and an impartial jury to make a decision given all the evidence. The public at large is incapable of that.

Sounds fabulous, don't see it working all the same.

Why not? It’s a better option than the horror of war. Sooner or later when the sides can’t stomach a war any longer they go through more or less the same process, so why not just start out with it?

Maybe...but, honestly, isn't Russia really winning this thing?
Be honest.

Is it time for Biden to send Ukraine another $50,000,000,000 yet?

If this were true, then they would have given the name and surname of "Major General Pavel" and the position in which he serves.
This fake is from a series of North Korean generals, hung with orders up to their boots. Photoshop plus lies.

LOL here's his response

North Korean generals? I know it's gonna sound like I'm being argumentive, but he doesn't look very very Korean, nor do the people around him?

as well as the twit states Major General Pavel to oversee special forces operation.

Is there somewhere I can find a picture of the actual Russian leader of the Special Forces? or is that TOP SECRET information

Your problem being life is somewhat more complex an affair than the rules that govern our courts of law.

If you wish to possibly give the likes of Muppets like Tommy Robinson for instance decision-making powers over the masses be my guest, but don't expect me to hold with any conclusions something like that comes away with.

Coz there is your lottery system of judgment right there.

You must see the folly that could arise?

Because money and actual power wag the dogs tail as opposed to your better option.

For a start how would you enforce such decisions and/or make everybody play nice?

We have fought with one another throughout recorded history and probably long before, and we still have a taste for war in spades.

If in doubt can you remember a time when peace on earth was the colour of our day because i cant?

Not nervous about anything. Government is a necessary evil that abuses its power and Putin has nothing worse nor better to offer than “western” governments. And it’s sad the Russian cheerleaders on ATS buy into. And try to justify ever Russian lie and all Russian propaganda.

It’s that simple.

You don’t get the truth nobody should “cheerlead” their government but work to hold government accountable. And Russia should be no different?

No wonder your so lost….

One Tommy Robson character isn’t going to make a difference in a jury of 12+ if it works for the courts it can work well enough for political decisions, your just not picking at this point.

For all of known history we have lived In more years of peace than war. Just because there have been ongoing skirmishes that most of the world was mostly unaffected by doesn’t mean the majority weren’t living in peace throughout that history.
Except for WW1 and 2 the majority of warfare consisted of competing nations or expanding empires. Now there has never been a time in history when we could literally wipe civilisation across the globe out entirely.

With the stakes so high, I think we had better try the peaceful approach for a change.

What if there are more than one of his sorts?

The way a jury works by the way is the bam-sticks tend to get kicked to the curb during selection so there is that.

Your lottery system would seem to prohibit or discard the above.

Thats not what recorded history or the spear/arrow points in the sides of cavemen suggest surfer_soul, far from it.

Yes we love to create new and interesting ways to destroy one another, and now have the capability to end or severely retard civilisation, such is the world of our own creation.

With the stakes so high, I think we had better try the peaceful approach for a change.

Me too but again that is not how real change occurs, but requires blood and sacrifice in spades probably because we refuse to learn from history and seem hell-bent on repeating the past mistakes of generations gone by only a hell of a lot worse.

Collectively people are pretty thick, don't you think?

Do you see that changing anytime soon given our penchant for destruction?

The only thing I can help you with is:

Here is the full uncropped photo

Here is the profile on the Russian social network VKontakte where this photo was posted.

vk.com...

I don't have anything else. Judge for yourself.

By the way. He has a cap with a green band. That is, the cap of an officer (not a general) of the border troops.

I'll add more. In Russia, there is such a holiday - the day of the border guard. On this day, all people who once served in the border troops gather for various events.
Most likely, the photo shows just such an event of the opening of some kind of monument or sign dedicated to veterans of the border troops somewhere in a small village in Russia. The photo clearly shows veterans of the border troops, and in the background there is a memorial plaque with portraits.
I hope you draw your own conclusions. Moreover, the photos are several years old (I'm too lazy to turn the VKontakte profile down before this photo appears).
Conclusion: this photo has nothing to do with the generals and the operation in Ukraine.

It's one thing to be Russo-philic and study things Russian, including but not limited to history.. quite another to support the on-going war against Kievan Ukraine. Likewise it is one thing to be an American patriot and quite another to support what NATO has been doing in eastern Europa and the war upon the eastern Slavic peoples.
Yes I understand that there are reasons for the war, even good reasons. One would hope that Russia consolidate it's gains in eastern Ukraine and bring the war to a speedy end. One would also hope that NATO butt out and mind it's own affairs, and end the proxy war upon Russia.

If ww1 and ww2 weren't about "competing nations or expanding empires", what WERE they about? All those countries (most of them empires) werent in competition and expending their empires or spheres of influence?
