A few questions:
Was family member who took photo a member of the crew of the aircraft this object "followed" for (as stated) 20 minutes, or were they a passenger.
If a crew member, did they report the sighting to the FAA (or other official aviation authority)? FAA is actively collecting such reports now that
"UAP's " have gained official recognition.
Also, if part of the crew, was ATC made aware of unknown contact , as it could be considered a potential conflict?
Did the object even show up on ATC radar?
If your family member observed, and photographed the object, as a passenger on either a commercial or private aircraft, did they alert the flight crew
of the object?
It's hard to see clearly, but the general shape does, somewhat resemble that of a new, pusher prop private/commercial airplane I've seen online (the
name of the manufacturer escapes me ATM).
ETA:
It's the Celera 500 "bullet" plane I was thinking of.
