Military inside the cities instead being outside on their way TOWARDS the Russians, tackling them BEFORE they reach the cities.

Easy to say when it's not you doing it , the military will use any advantage they can and cover is a big advantage when fighting a superior force.

Are you justifying the Ukrainian military using human shields?...

Unfortunately that is a reality of war. Soldiers try and use civilians as human shields. It happens in almost every single war. It is saddening. I can understand the logic, but that logic doesn't make it ANY LESS f'd up.

I hope the Ukrainians realize this soon. Zelensky the comedian and Biden have made this war last longer than it should. Maybe they should have just abided by the Minsk "agreement." They are just as responsible for this war as Russia is, if not moreso.

Perhaps those naughty old Ukrainians are responsible for making Putin's war last longer by not immediately surrendering?

Putin is responsible for HIS war. Why all the excuses for him on here?

For a "comedian" Zelensky seems to be doing rather well.

He seems to have bigger balls than your good self, too.

The nerve of those Ukrainians, right? How dare they defend their homeland.

Cheers

Yes. How very dare them. If only they had welcomed the Russian tanks and thrown flowers at them. Instead of blowing the hell out of them. The war mongering swines.

Dude, why'd you come at me like that? I just as antiwar as anyone. I'm just saying there a people at fault here. I used to like Putin before this. I thought he was very smart and articulate. Both sides are to blame. Nobody deserves what is happening. Not Ukrainians. Not Yemenis. Nobody.

Seeking 'cover' amidst civilian-populated infrastructure/regions is notoriously the hallmark of a cowardly, pathetic 'armed forces', which are rightly more likely to be known as terrorists or some equivalent of 'weasles with guns' in the minds of most decent, civilised people. The honourable & just way to defend your homeland is to get your # together quickly & run in the general direction of the advancing enemy, locating & fortifying battle lines in the most clever & pragmatic manner possible. Sitting amongst civilians, waiting for the enemy to arrive, waiting for the international community to raise an outcry & send you weapons, is pure cowardice & pathetic idiocy, in terms of strategy.

The Ukrainian government deserves to be overthrown for the way they have responded to this conflict, to be replaced by honest people who will lead that country into a bright new future. If Russia doesn't depose them (& I'm not saying I support the way the Russians have gone about this), then the UN should be pulling data on the suspicious activities of the Ukrainian government & armed forces as well as the Russians, both before & during this conflict, including the blatantly neo-fascist Ukrainian battalions, replacing them all, with demands for reform high on the agenda. I know it won't happen, that instead Zelensky is lapping up the Western liberal idiots' praises, waiting to be admitted to the EU & glorying in the WEF's adulation - but one can dream.

One western journalist decided to forget about incrementally breaking the news. He was brutally honest. A rare thing in this age.

However, I suspect that he was given permission to do so. Germany is prosecuting another journalist for telling the truth about Donbas. This guy is part of MSM. He is controlled. IMO Germany wants this to be over. They never seemed to be supportive, to begin with.

So then the russians should also be ashamed since they did it for 8 yrs in Donbas region right?

Because of your one sided anti Ukraine post? In which you blamed everyone except Putin for this war?

That's why I called you out, friend.

Everyone defending the Ukrainian army for doing this because "that's just what you have to do" would be calling it a war crime if the United States or Israel did it.

I doubt it'll happen as well. Western politicians have been making a fortune off of Ukrainian corruption. They're pretty happy with the status quo there, no matter who dies.

I agree. NATO was far from the "united front" that Western media has bee pretending during this.

Maybe if more people were like you and me, there wouldn't be any war anywhere. Peace bro. I accept nothing less than peace from any entity. Thanks for your peace.
You made my day bro. I was screaming at the sky last night basically (not over you, I was "screaming" about all the wars). I consider you a brother. If we meet here again, it'll probably be us trying to make the same point about something. I'll say it again, peace bro. We're done till we meet again.

Maybe we'll meet again when JWST releases images on Jul12. I hope to see you there instead of this war ish.

You can't hold a city from outside the city. There is no way to do that.

If Ukrainian forces were to position themselves outside the city, Russian forces would just walk right in and occupy it.

Both sides are cooperating to try and get all the civilians out before the siege, but yes: Ukrainian troops are going to use the city's buildings as cover.

These articles exist for no other purpose than to exploit your ignorance about war.

Here is how Ukraine helped civilians in Mariupol. This is one of the videos from phones that were partially destroyed and recovered from inside Azovstal.
