Hopefully by the end of the year when the housing market collapses I can go pay cash for an acre of land.

Here in Southern IN, I travel to about 4-5 area cities to check on food stocks/prices and gas prices. I see more and more empty shelves and exorbitant food costs for the shelves that have the items.

It is the exact opposite here. The shelves are filled to the brim, because people aren't buying.
I noticed that grocery stores are doing some shifty things like leaving meat out longer than it should be or they are repackaging. I saw a lot of bloated packs of chicken. People don't know that means it's bad or going bad!

The worst is the prepared foods were always sketchy but now yuck, price and quality may turn me more vegetarian than previously. That may be TPTB's ultimate goal.

Thanks, Joe Biden.
Thanks, democrats.
You should be thanking the World Economic Forum (WEF) instead.
All the 'elites' gathering at Davos each year , Klaus Shwabby boy bragging about the WEF 'penetrating world governments'
, 'democrats' / 'republicans' two sides of the same corrupt coin imo.

Yup you will be eating 'ze bugs'

Saw a video on Telegram by a Cuban immigrant to the US . He had surfed over 90 miles to get away from the socialist nightmare. He said he'd rather die than continue existing like that. When he came to the US he was amazed at the selection of meats people were eating , as in Cuba eating meat is illegal and they go to jail for it

Same will happen here if these stupid 'leftoids' have their way

Cuban who escaped socialism , meat is forbidden :

I have acreage for sale in Texas now, Irrigated farm land. What do you think a fair price for an acre is?

It's not, some people like to make things up.

You can find menu after menu with meat dishes on it for Havana if you go to Tripadvisor.com.

Chicken isn't really meat, it's poultry. See the video above

Do you even realize how much beef is exported to Cuba by American ranchers? If they don't eat it what do you think they do with it?

Eating out is really expensive for sure. Not so much for lunch but for dinner especially.
You can find some good deals, but then there are other places that obviousuly have less business than they used to so they charge way too much for the tier of the food.

For example, we ate from a Japanese restaurant with fresh sushi and fish so of course it was pricey, but the fact is, the food lasted about 3 days, there was a good portion of it, including soups and appetisers. So that was about $80 for two people, and lasting that long and for the high quality i think it is worth it. That place is always crazy busy.

Conversely, we ate from a mid tier Irish pub, so the food is obviously just casual dining, pies and burgers, and for 2 people we paid $80, and it only really lasted that single meal. Definitely not worth it. That place was fairly dead. . Only one or two other tables were occupied on a Sunday night.

So in general you just have to be really careful with where you go, and know how popular and thus how much they may be able to lower their prices.

The pub experience is definitely indicative of the inflation for buying foodstuffs and paying waitstaff etc.

I work for a toll by mail company (where you just go thru the toll booths on the highway then get the toll bill in the mail rather than having to stop and pay) and usually around this time we're slammed because people are traveling and we usually have overtime. We've been getting sent home early like 3 days a week every week just because there's not enough work. And this is even with additional plazas that we didn't have before. Usually at this point in the year we're starting to get a backlog because of so many travelers but not this year. These gas prices are hurting people especially when your pay doesn't go up but you have to pay double the amount you're used to for gas to get to work! I'm thankful I drive a small car and live close to my office!

So the video is made up now? Chicken off course it's meat , but technically poultry, and the Cuban in the video above described his situation. So he's lying just for sh*ts and giggles ?

Either that or everyone posting on Tripadvisor who just ate in Cuba in the past month along with the restaurants listing their menus that have beef on them are lying.

Hmmmmm, let's see, internet rando is lying or hundreds of other people are. Wow, this is a toughie....

The Federal Reserve just raised an interest rate by 3/4 of a percent.

Economic experts are all emotional about it.

Slow times and boredom for them until now?

I wish Biden-flation was up just 3/4%.
