What are you posting about? It was a domestic dispute that escalated to shooting. 21 and 22 are not exactly kids.

Very sorry young adults.

You are trying to make it sound like a guy just picked two kids to shoot. There was more to the story.

Does it matter why he decided to off two ""young adults""?

More dead people via shooting is part and parcel of the story.

You are being ""manipulated"" by the MSM, The only reason this made national news is the people pushing gun laws wanted it to be there.

I'm not being manipulated by anyone, and you are correct about why this made the news, which only makes it far more tragic.

215+ mass shootings in the USA this year alone and its only Jun, the gun laws don't work or are not enforced.

Simple as that really.

Soft on crime policies are not working. Crime in general is up on some areas as laws are not enforced the way they should be.

Again this was a domestic dispute. That is the worse call that an officer wants to deal with. Both parties are usually unreasonable and uncooperative. It seems the guy could not deal with no longer being in a relationship. That is an anger problem. Take the gun out of this situation and he would most likely have beaten her to death.

How is this particular situation a gun problem when the outcome would probably been the same or similar without one?

A gun is a tool, you are just wanting to change the tool without addressing why the tool was used.

A lot harder to beat someone to death than to shoot them to death beyondknowledge.

And if indeed his problem was an anger issue the gun only enabled him to vent his anger in the manner he chose.

You don't know the outcome could have been the same that's an assumption.

As i have said shooting people and beating them to death is nowhere near the same thing, requiring a lot more time and effort for a start, never mind conviction.

A gun is a tool but in the hands of mad bastards or children, that tool becomes a killing machine.

A car is a tool also but you don't see children or crazy people being allowed to own or use those.

Attacking both with a car and from a car. I think you wold consider the attackers crazy.

And then thers was the guy who drove through that parade not too long ago, killing several people including older people and children.

Crazy people do use cars.

Your vid seems to have failed to embed.

Yes crazy indeed.

And crazy people should not have access to cars, weapons, guns, never mind a multitude of other everyday thingamabobs.

Same with unattended children.

Cant ban cars, don't want to ban guns, but you can stop crazy people and mad angry bastards from owning such, else well see the 215+ mass shootings that have already occurred this year alone.

Of which you are correct this one hardly even makes the grade, which also speaks volumes regarding the situation and predicament the USA has with guns, where 40% of the guns on the planet are in the hands of the American public.

And yet, you are in favor of yet more laws, and those will work?

Simple as that really.

Obviously not...

tanstaafl im in favor of guns not being in the hands of lunatics and unattended kids.

And is obvious to everyone they should not have access to guns and AR-15 type rifles aside from some very crazy people imho.

Me too...

But more laws won't change either of those.

Keeping guns out of the hands of your children and lunatics might.

Just enforce the laws in place and do the required proper background checks and i imagine that may help immensely.
