This is sad. I have learned not to automatically believe everything told to me, especially if it is negative about another person. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, and will ignore nasty rumors and gossip about friends and family, unless there is proof.

I have come to the belief, over the years and from personal experience and observation, that everyone is slandered at some time in life. No one is exempt from it. It is better to not believe every little thing that your ears hear.

I didn't follow it -- but, my daughter kept me informed.

I tried not to make this about gender.

He's a mess for sure -- but, witnesses pointed to her as the aggressor. He'd try to remove himself, she'd go after him.

She had no real proof of him abusing her.

Actually, my cousin was based in England and came home with a slight English accent. Depends on how much time he spends in England or abroad. I am from the South. When I go to visit my mom, my accent returns and slowly dissipates after I come home.

Always important for another poster to tell me where I stand politically.

This is not just a win for JD, this is a stunning win for JD. He even won on all the acounts most laywers online who covered this like TUG (that umbrella guy), DUI Guy, Crunkle the baily and Emely d. baker did not expect him to win on at all.


10 million damages for JD
+ the jury awared him 5 million in punitive damages (F U damages, they really did not like Amber) only a jury can decide on this and not be claimed by any party. One lucky point for Amber is that punitive damages in virginia are nut unlimted but limited to 380.000 so the judge had to bring that down to that states maximum.

This jury did not believe a single thing Heard has said and claimed and if you had followed the trial that is not much of a surprise.
