Hard to believe it's about that time to wrap things up. This has been such a wonderful Contest and a wonderful demonstration of what creative people can do with just 100 WORDS!

So folks.. with less than a week to go.. Lets see if you squeeze out another 100 word Story story or two. Remember.. the wording "THE END" does not count in the 100 words (but is still necessary to include please).

''How I Shunned the Frumious Bandersnatch and Lived to Tell the Tale

Encia and I were discussing we can find any number of things in our daily lives and make something up about them. I don't know how this one came to me, I really don't remember, it just sprang up. Even though '' Alice in Wonderland'' scared the crap out of me as a kid with all it's shifting realities and upside down inside out personages, I always loved the ''Jabberwocky''. All those delicious words just rolling off the tongue.

So what popped ''frumious Bandersnatch'' into my head this morning, I have no idea. Maybe just random flutterings of unconscious memory snippets that float though our minds on a constant basis that normally we don't even notice. This time though I found it there, grabbed it and took off with it.

I suppose it's a good thing, this 100 word limit, as had I not had that firm reality grip I might never have come back.

Ok, my last entry for this incredible contest.

I had to finish with a tribute to Maestro Dante Alighieri!
