i don't think they are "UFO"s like the alien type but rather secret military programs that can not be discussed or belong to a friend of the US

i think NASA and other space orgs. have captured things that would fall under national security or the national security of our friends.

i am not a die hard believer in alien UFO's i think what people see and mis ID as alien UFO's are more than likely a military or private contractors dark secret.

i think if an intelligence comes from the stars it will be something we wont even recognize and the life onboard could be something like living rocks or super smart jelly fish or swarms of nano bots, the point is a real alien ufo would be so odd and the creatures on it would not be in a humanoid form.


if some how back in the day NASA somehow got pictures of HEXAGON or MISTY sats or even KEYHOLE sats would be classified or left to speculation



i just think it is something that is never going to be answered to alot of peoples satisfaction when NASA says they dont know what something is.

not everything can be ID'ed for a number of reasons, alot of times the sightings are fleeting and far away and the observer has a very limited amount of time and ability to document the sighting. MAYBE a camera and MAAAYYBE ground radar

Great link! Thanks so much. It was great seeing that old video again and again. Notice that 2:50 the shuttle's camera start to pan down, then at 3:21 we start to see the edge of the shuttle and it's out of focus because the camera was focused on infinity where the white drifters were seen. The camera keeps focusing until the shuttle's edge details come into focus and everything in the background is out of focus. And while the camera is moving down we see a ton of drifters. This is good feces, man! Ice crystals, space debris, thrusters firing, HOGWASH!

While the camera was steady and we see the main drifter apptear at 1:32 while others are appearing, drifting, passing each other, it's UFO "heaven" (pun intended).

And, of course, one has to watch the video withe Dr Kasher explaining it but, unfortunately, it's in French.

As I told Oberg in a reply, I think I have the footage in one of my old VHS videotapes which I'll bring out and watch, ready with my remote doing overtime as I pause and play the tape(s) in slo-mo and frame-by-frame.

I was sad to see your stubbornly closed-mind about the realities of illumination and motion in space, and the genuinely-mindblowing visual consequences of these unearthly conditions.

Just two examples. You use the word 'materialize' when more likely the small nearby object just drifted out of the shuttle's own shadow and became sunlit. You do realize that the shuttle's shadow is being cast right out across the camera's field-of-view, don't you?

James: the word "materialize" was a poor choice on my part, "appear" would have been appropriate. If it was a "small, nearby object just drifted out of the shuttle's own shadow and became sunlit." why was it necessary for the shuttle's camera to come into focus to show the shuttle's cargo bay edge details? Because the camera was focused on the distant and not necessarily small white drifter. And if it was a small nearby object that you say was affected by the shuttle's thrusters, why weren't none of the many near white drifters affected? They just kept drifting on their merry way with quite a few appearing and others shooting up and down the scene at a fast clip. On other videos of the same scene, the camera(s) can be seen selecting some of the white objects and zooming in on them. James, fold your losing cards.

But, on the other hand, if those objects swarming around the space station and shuttles want to be alien they become really retarded, primitive, old-tech pieces of engineering as they need to be really close to the space station to gather their data.

Even if they don't feel the need to hide, you don't need to be so close to a target to take a pic if you really are alien. All in all, the STS seems to be a far more advanced piece of engineering than those disc-shaped orb-like objects.

And the drifter is NOT in the shuttle's shadow which was only 184 feet long and ABOVE the earth. Its shadow darkened only your brain.

This is exactly what NASA had concluded in its study of sightings of anomalous objects during the Apollo program.

Meanwhile, every anomalous sighting outside a spacecraft needs to be vigorously tracked down and its cause discovered. The severity of the Apollo-13 explosion was quickly confirmed by what the crew saw out the window. 'Columbia' was lost and 7 people died because pieces of the fatally-crippled heat shield drifted away in flight and nobody noticed.

Several of the dots make course changes, all in direction away from the thruster area, during and only during the 1.2 second thruster firing.

Objects closer to the shuttle would have been in the structural 'plume shadow' and of course wouldn't be hit -- or deflected.

Since some of the dots are closer than 184 feet [the water dump was scheduled to be initiated coincidentally within a few seconds of the time of the flash] and would therefore be in the shadow.

……NASA has reportedly confirmed it will officially join the hunt for UFOs after a groundbreaking UAP Congress hearing earlier this month.

Which started with a moment of silence for "The white supremacist" buffallo shooting.. I literarly turned it off right at that moment.

Initially the camera is aiming to the port side of the shuttle to view the activity ….then the the flash happens, immediately objects are seen speeding off.

Then to get into the preparation of the water dump which was to take place 15 minutes, (and not within a few seconds of coincidence during the activity) after the activity seen in the beginning of the clip…..the camera swings to the starboard side of the shuttle….the space shuttle nose reaction control engines fire (the flash seen to the starboard side of shuttle nose) for water dump positioning, and then quite an amount of seconds later ….an object does a almost 90 degree turn trajectory change without any flash happening immediately before it’s turn, towards the end of the video clip. There’s no cause and effect of a flash and an immediate object trajectory change. The trajectory of the object changes some amount of seconds later.

I highly suggest referencing and watching in it’s entirety, the Daily Motion vid titled specifically “UFO Footage - STS-48 - Full Length Original”, by Muloot X-files and listen to all of its audio…..there’s dialogue between ground control and the astronaut.

We were discussing STS-48 and I referenced Dr Kasher 'cause he got involved and supplied a better explanation than yours. I don't know anything about his explanation of other topics. However, with your comment "Who seriously believes him this time?" you are implying Dr Kasher was seriously believed the other or last time. STS-48 maybe?

The camera was aimed at the receding nightside horizon as part of the "Mesoscale Lighting Experiment" hunting for vertical lightning sprites, it was a formal shuttle science program over many missions. Please catch up.

Kasher's work merely verified the unspoken assumptions he started with. One example of how real-world silly his conclusions were is his claim that any small object entrained in a thruster plume MUST accelerate to the speed of the plume instantaneously. Plume density and object mass don't seem to influence this, he seems to claim. Bizarre.

when was the deep UV payload bay CCD camera put in?

i think people think that a lot of the dark side of the earth side is in some sort of regular video or even IR but it is in the deep UV and things can look very odd in the deep UV bands of light.

the thrusters exhaust on the STS would look very bright in the UV

do you have any photos that are in the public that you would consider has something in it that is something 'interesting'?

or do you believe all images, video, radar data can be explained as reflections, RSC thruster fires, ammonia snow/ice etc.
