Remember, no one is saying that parents cannot provide this to their own children if they want, only that it is not for schools to make it available against a parents' wishes out of some misguided belief this is educational.

If you think it's educational for your children, go get it for them. Similarly, if a parent wants their kids at a kiddie pageant, they take them, but the school isn't doing it.

It's quite common that teens around 13-16 have their sexual debut. And we deal with it.

You really need to embrace these teachings, because from the sound of it, you yourself don't have the qualifications to handle it yourself without shaming sex or potentially your kids, thus messing them up.

I'd being willing to bet your daughters thoughts weren't consumed with her sexuality before her 'education', but are now. You might want to get the nursery ready, or plan for alternatives to becoming a grandparent. Brushing up on STDS would also be helpful- unless you expect the school to also educate her about 'the gifts that keeps on giving'.

Not everybody buys into the 'free love with everybody you meet' ideology. A lot of us 'stuffy' people in the US still believe in monogamy; life is a lot less complicated- and dangerous- that way.

It's hard enough for a kid to figure out who they are and what they want in life, without throwing in gender confusion, multiple sexual relationships and all the extra baggage that goes along with adulting.

Yea its wierd why that is an option to read in a high school. Granted, this comic book sex is nothing compared to what any student can access on their smart phones.
