Hello ATS!

Speaker of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin in his official Telegram channel said that due to the fact that countries unfriendly to Russia are proceeding to confiscate Russian assets, Russia is also rejecting all obligations imposed on it by international law, which it has observed to this day, and begins the process of confiscating $500 billion worth of stolen assets. the trigger for this decision was Biden's decision to transfer Russian money to Ukraine.

"Mirror response.

The US House of Representatives passed a law allowing the transfer of frozen assets of Russian companies and citizens to Ukraine. A dangerous precedent has been created, which should boomerang at the States themselves.

This decision will not affect the economy of our country. Seized yachts, villas and other property of wealthy citizens did not work for its development anyway.

Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves worth about $300 billion have also been frozen. They will return, they will not go anywhere. These are state funds.

The Central Bank, as a response, banned foreign investors from withdrawing funds from our financial system.
According to some estimates, we are talking about more than 500 billion dollars.
We have something to answer.

Today, Russian entrepreneurs are buying foreign companies operating in Russia, buying out the shares of partners who want to leave our market. Act in a civilized manner. Under a right in international law.

What can not be said about a number of unfriendly countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, and even the United States, which are simply engaged in theft.

In this regard, it is correct in relation to a business located on the territory of the Russian Federation, whose owners are from unfriendly countries where such decisions are made, to respond with mirror measures:
confiscate these assets.
And the proceeds from the sale will be directed to the development of our country."

t.me...

I think that the West's decision primarily hit investors from their own country. These include giant international corporations and ordinary citizens who have invested their little free money in assets and asset packages associated with Russia. It turns out that Biden robbed you and directed your investments to corrupt assistance to Ukraine.

Very sorry. Citizens of Russia and their domestic bears took this news with enthusiasm. Bears need to be fed, they eat a lot, so the Russians are calm about raising domestic prices for food, electricity, gas, gasoline for cars and diapers for cubs)))) This will not happen.

Bears love their owners even more)))

Well, speaking seriously, without humor, as an old lover of rock music, Alice Cooper's song now seems prophetic to me.

Thank you.

The people of the world want a solution that avoids the Great Reset.

. . . the elite of Nikolaev, businessmen, politicians, fellow bandits, are negotiating with the Russian side on the bloodless surrender of the city. Nobody wants to repeat the example of Mariupol

They ask for guarantees for the preservation of assets, business and participation in the political life of the city.

Wives and mothers of cannon fodder are starting to trash the recruiting offices. I hope this becomes a worldwide trend.

Today in the far west city of Khust, . . . wives, mothers, and family of soldiers being sent to the front virtually rebelled and started destroying the local military offices, and this is becoming increasingly common:

If the British Isles are no more due to nuclear war the blame has to lay squarely on the 'civil' nuclear industry that supplied the plutonium.

The amount of plutonium produced by the Magnox reactors belonging to the CEGB and SSEB is estimated using three different methods which give similar results for total plutonium production. The difference between this total and the UK civil plutonium inventory is 6.3 ± 0.8 tonne. This balance was apparently sent to the United States in exchange for fissile material for UK military requirements. The US destinations published by the UK government appear to accommodate significantly less plutonium.

Russia is also rejecting all obligations imposed on it by international law, which it has observed to this day

Ignoring the fact that the invasion of its neighbor is a flagrant breach of international law.

The Russian invasion of Ukraine flagrantly violates the post World War II international legal order. The Russian invocation of individual or collective self-defense is of no legal merit, even on the most elastic interpretation of the notion of imminent attack preemptive or anticipatory self-defense.

Similarly, the Russian references to “genocide” in Eastern Ukraine to justify its intervention cannot be substantiated and offer no justification for military action under international law.

But as Russia has shown little regard for international law throughout Putin's reign the fact that he ignores it now is of no surprise.

The list is endless.

Shooting down civilian aircraft.

Sending agents onto foreign soil to carry out acts of murder.

Just a couple of examples of Russia's hypocrisy.

Russia isn't doing or saying anything.
It's the dumbass putin that's ordering these things.

What a coward move to involve everyone as if they had a say.
Why not be honest and say puttbutt wants to do this and that crazy crap he's coming up with?

Two senile world leaders and all we people want is a happy peaceful life.

That is a really informative article. It took me a while to read itall.

The part where the Bill for lend lease being dated a month before the invasion should have made national news unfortunately they are all controlled.

I don't think I'll have too much trouble ... reset or not.

But, I want the people who caused it to start out with absolutely nothing ... and they can never be in charge of anything ever again.

Anything other than that ... and the lead will have to fly. Am pretty sure lead is gonna fly.

Remember when the US shot down an Airliner over the Gulf killing all aboard?
Remember the time when the Western US led Coalition defied International Law to invade a Sovereign Country?
Remember when Western Countries sent agents to commit assassinations across the globe?

Just a few examples of your own hypocrisy, my friend.

What ?

Why would i be a hypocrite when it's Russia making the claims of abiding by international law? When they clearly are not.

Can you please explain.

You're right about Biden.
Giving frozen Russian assets to Ukraine is wrong in so many ways.

Why ?
It was obvious that Russia was preparing for an invasion before Christmas with the US warning of an imminent threat in January , bolstering Ukraine's forces before the invasion would seem like a natural precaution given the seeming inevitability of a Russian attack.

What's the point of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted as training needed to be given to use the weaponry provided.

Does the Western alliance not claim to follow international law? When they clearly do not. Was the Iraq was legal under International Law. NO.
Look, we can accuse other Nations of a hell of a lot of bad shizzle, but, sooner or later it comes back on your own deeds.
We, The West, are not the shining beacons of goodness we like to project. How many Governments have the US/UK overthrown via their agencies? Legal under International Law?
We, the West, are currently complicit in the Yemen genocide with our sales of weapons, training of troops, pilots etc. Why do you not scream about that? Is this okay under International LAW? In the US, domestic gun manufacturers are being pilloried over there weapons being used in shootings. Double standards.
Your Government, my Government, most Governments have little regard for International Law, until they can point fingers at others actions.
Hope that explains.
Peace be with you.

This idea could become a new international trend.
All Chinese assets in the US should be confiscated and all US debt to China nullified if China invades Taiwan.

No, so that makes an at least equally illegal and immoral invasion of Ukraine ok?

Look, we can accuse other Nations of a hell of a lot of bad shizzle, but, sooner or later it comes back on your own deeds.

But its the people of Ukraine who are suffering; thousands dying and millions have been displaced.
What did they have to do with 'The West's' previous policies in Iraq or anywhere else?

We, the West, are currently complicit in the Yemen genocide with our sales of weapons, training of troops, pilots etc.

The amoral relationship between the UK & US governments with Saudi Arabia is truly appalling and you'll never see me and many others both here on ATS and throughout the UK say any other.

But how does that excuse the Russian invasion and war in Ukraine?

Why do you not scream about that?

I do, I assure you.
But it in no way impacts my thought and opinions about the situation in Ukraine. Why would it?

Putin's invasion of Ukraine is wrong and it should stop, immediately.

I am all for re-nationalization of the United States.

Hmmmm.... seems to me the UK and NATO are ramping up the agression....

About 8,000 British army troops are to take part in exercises across eastern Europe to combat Russian aggression in one of the largest deployments since the cold war.

Dozens of tanks will be deployed to countries ranging from Finland to North Macedonia this summer, and joining them will be tens of thousands of troops from Nato and the Joint Expeditionary Force alliance, which includes Finland and Sweden.

Doesn't matter, there's much more where this is coming from and the US of A is far ahead of you commies.

On the bright side, your glorious "non-war" made Rammstein get back together, so you've already won. Can you call it quits now, that you've accomplished something and pack your # up to go back home?
