There really is no bottom. Just think if someone 20 years ago would tell you we would be at where we're at now, you wouldn't have believed them. We cannot even imagine where they will be 20 years from now.

NATO troops are already there. A fair number of them are holed up in Mariupol at Azovstahl, under seige. They will probably die there.

Have you got a link or verifiable source for this or is it just speculation or hearsay that you have posted?

I would be really interested to look at your sources mate.

Scenario one....The West will fight to the last Ukrainian and any other wannabee soldier who wants to have a go. then when the country is devastated, and the fighting is over, it will offer reconstruction loans in return for its bounteous resources. They will then have a permanent western presence to make sure all the terms are met.
Scenario two.... Russia will continue mopping up the country and then install a government that will compensate Russia with Ukraine's bounteous resources to pay for the war.
Scenario three....The most likely....Western aid will pour into Ukraine with ever gathering speed, Russia will be under pressure, and will use Nukes when they feel that the West has enough resources to launch a retaliatory strike into the Russian homeland. China will weigh its options and bide its time, but because of worldwide food disruptions be forced to gather more resources, either invade Taiwan or Australia, which it has basically bought already to protect its interests. Then India will go for China's throat. When enough people have died and nothing works anymore everyone will make friends, and enjoy the fruits of the reconstruction.

If that happens, kiss the entire world goodbye. Don't you understand that would cause a Nuclear exchange? Russia has over 3000 Nuclear weapons. Those Nuclear weapons, are 3000 times more powerful than the bombs used in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Ah, yes, but we're supposed to stand up to the "bully", damn the consequences.

Doesn't matter that the consequences of calling a bluff, that isn't a bluff, could be millions, if not billions, of dead people. Shadows on a wall, shadows on a set of steps, the marks of people who paid a horrible price not of their own making...all because some want to show how tough they are.

The most likely scenario for NATO involvement is in Moldova, which lies between Ukraine and Romania

Moldova population is Romanian and speak the same language

There have been several incidents in the break away region of Transnitzia , which has a Russian speaking enclave

Concern are that Putin may stage a "false flag" type attack and blame it on Moldova

Moldova which has only several thousand men in its armed force, If pushed they may call on their big brother Romania
to help them

Romania is a NATO member ........

That's right, the harsh realities of life.

Don't care one little bit if you think its hypocritical or whatever, that's irrelevant to me.
Not particularly proud of it.....but it simply is what it is.

Did you ever get bullied when you were younger?
If so, how did you deal with it?

Is that all you took from my post?

Ummm…actually…I never responded to your post…I was responding to PiratesCut…

So there is that…

I simply pointed out the irony of responding to being bullied…which is a violence display…with a display of violence…

It’s merely an observation into human nature…and how behavioral characteristics are often buried beneath a thin veneer of unsupported altruistic appearances…

It’s kind of like the skeleton that hides within and the outer three centimeters of external appearance…merely a false front behind which the inner reality is closeted…

So, let me see if I have this right.

Putin: If Nato joins in this war by moving troops and equipment into Ukraine he will use nukes.
(thinking people know that threat means the forces deployed in Ukraine would be targeted with Nukes)

You: I am tired of being threatened with Nukes so we need to do exactly what Putin said would trigger the use of nukes.

Also you: We have more nukes so we win.

Is that a pretty accurate description of the OP?

I've had enough of this now... I'm fed up with being constantly threatened with Nuclear attacks by a despot dictator who runs a country with an economy no bigger than Florida....

We are effectively fighting the war for Ukraine anyway... Without the Western worlds support and weapons Ukraine would be part of Russia by now... We have been at war with Russia for 8 years now... longer if you take into accoutn Russia's pathetic attmepts to hack elections and destabilise Europe...

NATO forces would annihilate the dated, ineffective shambolic Russian Army..

We should push them out of Ukraine with Force, this is the only thing Putin recognizes.. Aggression. We should also send in the SAS to assasinate him... One sniper team would be able to do it...

He thinks we are weak, he thinks we won't do anything...

And once Ukraine is clear of Russian troops we should move into Russia, take some Russian land and give it to the Ukranians... Really humiliate Putin...

We stood by when he went into Chechnya...
We stood by when he went into Georgia...
We stood by when he took Crimea with force...

How much longer will we standyby and do nothing...

Will Finland and Sweden be next?

We have a far larger Nuclear arsenal combined than Russia, and much more modern/effective... If he fired a nuke Russia would be completely destroyed within hours..

I'm fed up with his pathetic posturing and threats...

We need to stand up to this bully...

There is so much to say about what you have written that I am unsure where to begin.

Putin is killed by a sniper team, do you dream of Jack Bauer every night? What sort of fantasy world do you inhabit, believing that NATO can crush Russia?

As the United States military has struggled to contain the Taliban for nearly twenty years, Russia has been at war with Ukraine for just a few months and controls the entire Ukraine coast.

Should take some Russian land and keep it. If so, how can this be accomplished When Russia has the most nukes on the planet.

Is your knowledge of Russia's hypersonic nuclear tipped missiles truly naive? They can be launched from mobile platforms or submarines and there are no defense systems to defeat them. They can reach cities in the United States, and even places where you live.

Putin never intended to take over Ukraine completely, because if he did declare war and invade Ukraine, it would be a monster war that would destroy every city there. Not fully understanding what Russia is doing in Ukraine.

Not sure if the OP is American, that being said I would imagine if they are then they would probably do just about anything asked of them by their nation even if moving one eyelid was the only physical act they could muster.

Cardio. Whatever. Who is the real 'Loudmouth Rambo' here? Im certain by 'we' they mean people that dont want innocent people or probably not even guilty people to suffer.

Sometimes Yall can be jerks, I dont care if you have a chest full of ribbons and 50 tours in some craphole..Take it easy.

War makes bad people worse, good people numb, little babies burned up, wives widows, children fatherless..Who wouldnt want that to stop? Whatever it takes.

OP is exploring options and sure, impulsively emotional..but so was Da Vinci im sure..and probably all your mothers shared the same trait. Least thats what I hear...

As far as NATO is concerned..have no use really for them, but if it would keep American Troopers from being ground up then Im all for it.

Yeah...

I somehow doubt that we've ever rebuilt after a Global Thermo-nuclear War...??

I did say if there was any world left.

I'll take my chances (and everyone else's) to move Forward.

I doubt Russian oligarchs support Putin nuking the world.

Time for them to stand up.

Russian oligarchs can no more stop a Russian nuke than Oprah , also a billionaire, can stop Biden firing a nuke in a fit of dementia.

If you want to play very dumb nuclear bomb chicken games with Russia with YOUR life, go ahead. I am unwilling to risk nuclear incineration of America because of your irrational hate of Putin.

Most normal people are smart enough not to play that game.

Sending F/16s, M1A1 Tanks fighting Bradly tanks "Heavier Support" would likely trigger a larger response from Russia.

Sending UN/NATO Troops to Ukraine also trigger a likely confrontation.

The US's biggest export is military hardware and munitions.

This is what's known as propaganda. Whoever told you that lied to you.

The U.S.'s biggest export is energy.

You are right it is Energy. LNG and they want to charge Europe for it. Not for Free nor cheap.

Sending in NATO almost ensures WWIII. As well as nuclear weapons being deployed. Only a fool would think this is a good idea.

If America wasn't so corruptly entangled with Ukraine in the first place this conflict would be over already, or possibly would have never started in the first place. It's America and the puppet Zelensky who continue to draw this conflict out at the detriment of Ukranian civilians on both sides of the line.

The OP of this thread needs to change their avatar picture to someone more fitting like Rachel Maddow, or Don Lemon, or something...

Zelensky is trying to anything to drag in NATO into the conflict. And drag the conflict further, he still believes that he would be able to take back all the regions within.

While facing no consequences for the far right militia, somehow with that in mind this is how he thinks it would help him get into EU?
