You said:

Did he or didn't he?

You did this in the other thread where you still can't answer questions.

He just made Adam from the dust of the ground so there's no contradiction.

You the try to say the source isn't a secular one. Let's look at their published papers.

Francesco Bella:

Iron overload and chronically transfused patients: Numbers, scales, and clinical research

X chromosome monosomy restricted to the left ventricle is not a major cause of isolated hypoplastic left heart

The development of the intrahepatic bile ducts in man: A keratin-immunohistochemical study

Recombinant interferon-alfa therapy in children with chronic hepatitis C

You make yourself look bad.

Also, you ridicule people for believing in God but you believe that some peer created the universe. You still haven't answered questions about this peer since you want to change topics.

Who is this peer? What galaxy did he come from? Does this peer control the afterlife you said you believe in?

What questions?

No, I said he said something about the greek pantheon and that, according to you, should provide proof of those other gods as well since you think it provides proof of your god.

Also, you ridicule people for believing in God but you believe that some peer created the universe.

No, I said that was a possibility and that I can't prove that anymore than you can prove your god exists.

Again, you said:

Like I have said in other threads there is also the possibility that the earth/universe were created by a peer. It has to do with simulation theory.

Who is this peer?

You're on this forum 24/7 trying to ridicule people who believe in God yet you believe some peer created the universe? Do you know what peer means?

Definition of peer (Entry 1 of 3)
1: one that is of equal standing with another : EQUAL
The band mates welcomed the new member as a peer.

Who is this peer? Did this peer use a quantum computer? Does this peer control the afterlife you believe in? What galaxy is this peer from? Is this peer limited to our knowledge of physics?

Where's your proof of this afterlife you believe in?

Is that any different from what you are trying to do to those who don't agree with you?

Where's your proof of this afterlife you believe in?

I already told you I can't prove it but it is no more or less provable than the texts you are so sold on.

It's totally different. I provide evidence that supports what I'm saying whether it's about topics like this or intelligent design.

I suspect this is why you haven't started any threads. You just want to ridicule without any evidence when you think some peer created the universe.

Is this peer carbon based?

You said you believe in some afterlife yet you spend 24/7 trying to ridicule people who believe in God?

You don't provide any evidence for your assertions. I see why.

What galaxy did this peer come from? Does this peer control the afterlife you believe in? Did you meet this peer in an OBE? Didn't you say you have out of body experiences?

Again, this isn't to ridicule you for these beliefs. This is to show you how small minded you look when all you do is try to ridicule others for believing in God.

You don't provide any evidence to support any of your assertions.

This debate will go on endlessly. The Bible is not something you read once or just skim over. Scripture explains Scripture and it takes decades of reading and studying to even start to understand. I personally love the Bible and in the crazy world its the only thing that has been consistent and truthful.

Back on topic. I agree that it’s describing a modern day surgery and that’s amazing by itself but what are some of the other implications when it comes to modern technologies?

Why did the team of Divinity scientists at 'Eden' decide to create the female 'Eve' from 'Adams' rib ?

i think that method was selected to save time, as the process used in creating Adam from-the-Clay used time dialation and other costly aspects to contract evolution processes

of note.... the advanced technology at the 'Eden Genesis Lab' 'closed up' the chest cavity but left no scar nor used stitches'

quite an accomplishment,

Another reason for Adams rib' might be: the DNA sequencing and at chromosone variation was more easily accessed by modifying the original genome instead of the tedious building up, layer-by-layer method used in creatin Adam...

Precisely. The concept Mr. Judge shared with us in the OP is a speculative interpretation based on the belief that that book is God's true message to his children, to be believed and rewarded or disbelieved and punished. And that IS the context that is accepted by believers in that book..

Mr. Judge, in his thinking from within that context, may only be attempting to expand that narrative and make it more acceptable to this modern generation, which I guess can be understood as a benevolent gesture. And of course this was stated at the end of his OP, the statement I first replied to in this thread. But, from my experience with believers in Jesus, it is most often nothing more than an act of proselytization.

And that is the problem with making attempts to discuss with ''true believers''. They rest within a context that is unassailable, that is their entire context cannot be called into question for fear of that punishment that it promises.

My experience with followers of Jesus is to my memory never mutual, that is it is always from the position of me standing at the foot of the mountain and them up on it's top beckoning me to join them on the mount. What they ask is for us to not just believe, but rather to abandon who we are and what we think and join them in the light. Never once have I met a Jesus person who was willing to put their own beliefs on the line, that is willing to question what they believe in order to ask me to do that very thing. It's almost like they just think we nonbelievers are just vacuous chambers that need to be filled with the holy waters of truth and all we have to do is just accept it. They want us to be ''born again'' while all the while never questioning their belief system at all. Real conversation with them seems impossible to me, yet silly me, I continue to do that.

Yet again, a post that has nothing to do with the thread. The Bible says:

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

This has nothing to do with judgement and everything to do with the fruits of your posts which were vile. I just put a name on your vain imaginations about people in the Bible.

Why is it that everyone can debate the thread but you couldn't? You said the Bible is vague, what's vague about this:

Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

Anyone can recognize this modern procedure who has been in surgery or has seen a medical TV drama.

First a deep sleep(anesthesia), do the surgery(take out his rib) and after you're finished, CLOSE UP THE FLESH!

You didn't want to debate the subject of the thread because you couldn't. So your long winded posts have been soliloquies that have nothing to do with the thread.

I think God Created all things and is outside of space and time. His Glory is beyond our ability to comprehend so He communicates with us through Angels or other ways we can comprehend from our 3 dimensional point of view.

So we have Faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit that reveals these things to us.

Well good morning there Mr. Judge.

Seeing as you want to go at this some more, by replying to a post what was in reply to another poster, I guess you do. So here goes. Sentence by sentence.

In your first sentence you claim, as you have throughout this thread, that my postings have nothing to do with the topic of the thread, and of course I say that they do.

Yet again, a post that has nothing to do with the thread. The Bible says:

Your second sentence was this one, a quote from your Bible

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

In direct violation of the standards you claim you want me to hold to in this thread.

Here is your third sentence

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

That, to me looks exactly like the second sentence, a direct violation to the topic of the thread you wish to hold to.

On to your fourth sentence

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Opps, another violation of the topic of the thread. I"m noticing a pattern here so let's continue to your fifth sentence.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Huh? Are you still going on with your violations of the standards you are chastising me about? Seems so, so on to your sixth sentence now.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Do you ever get tired of braking your own standards set up for others to follow? The word hypocrite comes to mind. But let's move on to your next and seventh and eighth sentences ok?

This has nothing to do with judgement and everything to do with the fruits of your posts which were vile. I just put a name on your vain imaginations about people in the Bible.

Here you say that it has nothing to do with judgement while proclaiming my posts once again to be vile. You then say that you put a name on my posts as being vain imaginations which of course is once again a demonstration of your JUDGEMENT.

Here we are, eight of your sentence out of eight of your sentences waiting for you to get back to the topic of your thread which you want to discuss.

I'll try again and read more of what you have to say in sentence 9

Why is it that everyone can debate the thread but you couldn't?

9 for 9 . Now onto your 10th 11th sentences

Why is it that everyone can debate the thread but you couldn't? You said the Bible is vague, what's vague about this:

That 10th sentence is still off topic. The 11th though is a bit but then you use it as a segue to your next sentence so I will count it as being on topic. Still though that is only 1 of your first 11 sentences that are on topic. So let's keep going and see how you score in total.

Sentence 12

Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

Well, all you did here was to quote an earlier sentence you posted and to that, being on topic at last I will say, oh yeah, that is a sentence quoted from your Bible. So as you are finally on topic let's debate that sentence.

Were you there to witness this event? No, and neither was I. Therefore we have to take it on the account of someone else, that someone else who may be this guy or that guy or maybe some other guy who only heard the story from someone else. And were any of those guys there to witness this event? I don't think so. Do you, because if you do, please tell me who it was and I have some other questions for them specifically.

Anyway, what we have here is hardly factual, as the story must be at least second or third or fourth hand accounts of what happened at that time and even that is a far reach of credulity. More likely the entire tale is pure fantasy.

So that is two out of 12 so your percentage of being on topic is at least improving

Sentence 13

Anyone can recognize this modern procedure who has been in surgery or see a medical TV drama.

On topic. I"ve never been in surgery and I don't watch medical tv dramas. But I will take your word for it and say that that is 3 of 13. And now making it 4 of 14 we reach your 14th sentence

First a deep sleep(anesthesia), do the surgery(take out his rib) and after you're finished, CLOSE UP THE FLESH!

And sentence 15 and 16 ?

You didn't want to debate the subject of the thread because you couldn't. So your long winded posts have been soliloquies that have nothing to do with the thread.

It's not that I didn't want to debate the subject of the thread, it's that there was noting there to debate. Your entire post is built upon fantastical musings from some unknown writer or writers from antiquity who no one can name who was there to witness the creation of a species. The entire notion of debating it is bogus.
And oh, by the way, those two final sentences you made? Both off topic
making your final count in the vicinity of 5 out of 15 sentences or so being on topic. However, your claim that my long winded posts are soliloquies is likely true as I don't suppose that anyone else is paying attention and that you are paying them no mind at all other of course than to object object object.

If you want to continue with this it's up to you, just don't expect a reply for a while as I now have other things that need attending to.

What???

I will just respond to the portions that pertain to the thread. The rest makes no sense. You said:

Were you there to witness this event? No, and neither was I. Therefore we have to take it on the account of someone else, that someone else who may be this guy or that guy or maybe some other guy who only heard the story from someone else. And were any of those guys there to witness this event? I don't think so. Do you, because if you do, please tell me who it was and I have some other questions for them specifically.

I can see why you didn't respond to the thread. What does this even mean? You then said:

It's not that I didn't want to debate the subject of the thread, it's that there was noting there to debate.

Yet you been posting these page long posts about your vile musings on Biblical figures and a bunch of nothingness.

It amazes me how you guys that claim the Bible isn't true and God doesn't exist spend so much time talking about this. You and the other guy are on here 24/7 talking about God.

You then say this:

On topic. I"ve never been in surgery and I don't watch medical tv dramas. But I will take your word for it and say that that is 3 of 13. And now making it 4 of 14 we reach your 14th sentence

Herein lies why you go on these long rants that lack any substance. You can't refute what was said so now you act like you don't know what a modern surgical procedure is. I will describe it for you again using the Word of God:

Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

Anyone can recognize this modern procedure who has been in surgery or has seen a medical TV drama.

First a deep sleep(anesthesia), do the surgery(take out his rib) and after you're finished, CLOSE UP THE FLESH!

Here's more:

Finally, it says:

After God did this, He CLOSED UP THE FLESH THEREOF! AMAZING!

Why would God close up the flesh? He did this for our benefit so we would recognize the procedure today. You can watch any modern day medical drama and after surgery they say let's close him or her up!

God didn't have to do this. He could have Created Eve from the dust of the ground as He did with Adam.

Here's a video of a Doctor talking about the same procedure in Genesis 2:21.

From now on, I will just respond to the small portions of your post that actually talk about the topic of the thread.

Funny how you chastise someone for not sticking to the topic of the OP and here you are throwing a tantrum because I don't want to go off topic.

The peer isn't an actual being I have met but a possibility that I mentioned in this thread Question for those who are willing to ponder the possibility that we and the universe were created where I said that even if this universe was created it doesn't necessarily mean it was created by the god of the bible and that it could be a peer.

I don't care if you respond or not.

I tend to concur with the Biblical interpretation that Eve was not created from Adam's rib, but from his baculum.

Ziony Zevit, distinguished professor of Biblical Literature and Northwest Semitic Languages at the American Jewish University in California, argues that the Biblical story has been wrongly interpreted since a mistranslation confused rib with baculum, or penis bone.

www.seeker.com...enis-bible-scholar-1770658518.html

It has been argued that the "rib" (Hebrew צֵלׇע ṣēlā', also translated "flank" or "side") in the story of Adam and Eve is actually a mistranslation of a Biblical Hebrew euphemism for baculum, and that its removal from Adam in the Book of Genesis is a creation story to explain this absence (as well as the presence of the perineal raphe – as a resultant "scar") in humans.

en.wikipedia.org...

Never mind how the process worked, in an alien lab or a flash of the heavenly mind, it explains why humans are the only species of primates which don't have a baculum.

Even speaking evolution, the first male to have lost his baculum was the first male human ancestor, or "Adam".
That's where I would draw the line for our species.
Although why this occurred is not convincingly explained at all, and as a "primate" I'd still like to know - where did my bone go?

But Genesis is also quite accurate to point out that our first father lost his baculum.

No, I'm just showing you how you're always off topic. You say the same things over and over again no matter the thread. You ridicule those who believe in God yet you're talking about some peer that may have created the universe? What do you mean by peer? Peer means equal. How did a peer from another type 0 civilization create the universe?

Did this peer use a quantum computer? What Galaxy is this peer from?

You said you believe in an afterlife. Does this peer control this afterlife?

This is just the same thing you pull on every thread where God's mentioned. You ridicule people for believing in God when you're talking about some peer that may have created the universe and you will not answer if this peer controls this afterlife you believe in.
