Maybe it was to cover up the fact that the New York lieutenant governor was arrested today.

Not releasing it? Really? What dumb ass excuse could they possibly have to not release it?

The mayor of New York was just interviewed on the CBS nightly news. He looked like a deer in the headlights. I don't think he blinked one time.
“Today, one step that we’re taking is we’re going to double the number of the amount of uniformed officers there. We’re going to hold what’s considered the day tour to meet and complement the evening tour. You’re going to see double the amount of police officers.”
“This is terror,” proclaimed Adams in a separate CNN interview earlier Tuesday afternoon.
“This is terror, someone attempted to terrorize our system,” he said.
NYPD Commissioner Keechant Sewell said around noon during a press conference at the scene that the department is not investigating the incident as an act of terrorism at this time.
“An individual on that train donned what appeared to be a gas mask. He then took a canister out of his bag and opened it,” Sewell explained. “The train at that time began to fill with smoke. He then opened fire, striking multiple people on the subway and on the platform.”

I think they would've just done what they did with the Hunter laptop story and not covered it.
It's not like liberal media spent all day on this. They moved on to other stories. Not a very effective coverup if it was supposed to be one.

I install and repair CCTV cameras, mostly IP based now, but I know how to work on BNC cables and the technology behind CCTV systems. I don't know what goes on there, but I know how to make sure the stuff is working, and if it's not, I know how to repair it. I could even go as far as saying, I know enough to call a pro, that knows more than I do. If a bumpkin from Spiveys' Corner can handle this task, why on God's green Earth, can't the NYC government be able to maintain their camera systems? Or is the company in charge of these cameras, the same as those who were in charge of the jail cameras that were not working when Epstine "killed himself"?

Police said they were looking for Frank R James, 62, in connection with the attack as he had rented a U-Haul van that may be linked to the shooting.
The key was found at the subway crime scene.
"We are looking to determine if he has any connection to the train," NYPD Chief of Detectives James Essig said.
