The exchange of prisoners of war planned for April 8 yet again has not happened.

Head of Russia’s National Defense Control Center Mikhail Mizintsev said Russia addresses the Ukrainian side with the initiative to swap prisoners daily. For instance, according to him, on April 5 during talks, an agreement was reached to exchange 251 servicemen which was later reduced to 38 and then rejected by the Ukrainian side without explanations.

This story was BS, the prisoner exchange did take place today, details are posted in the update thread.

So are you guys done arguing amongst each other about things in other countries that has nothing to do with us while our own country falls apart? I sure wish people would spend this passionate energy focusing on us instead of them. I mean, I don't know if you guys noticed, but we are funding this war with our money while we are breaking records here in the worst way (poverty, homelessness, inflation, etc etc) . But hey go on, keep falling for the manufactured division yelling about Russia and Ukraine because that will definitely solve our issues here at home within our own corrupt government.

I can't wait for our government to print more money so they can line their own pockets and give more of our money away to other countries while we the American citizens suffer for it. But hey, we picked a side in a war between 2 foreign countries and I guess that helps us here...or something.

I thought that Putin was adamant that this was a Special Military Operation, not a war.

How can there be prisoners of war if there is no war?
