I know exactly what the poster said. And I responded directly. Specifically, I have the right to an opinion and to comment without conditions or exception. Watching a video doesn't give me that right. Not watching a video doesn't remove that right. My right to have an opinion and to express that opinion stand on their own. They existed before this video and exist after this video and every moment in between.

I would emphasize something or do a little overview on this huge amount of text but I think it stands on it's own quiet good.

Um... where exactly? the only "CAPSLOCK" in my comment to the other poster was for the acronym "LOL." (And I doubt used "CAPSLOCK"... More likely I held down the shift key and typed "LOL" with my right hand.) I used no capslock at all in my comment to you

The point is:
If you don't watch the video you are relying on what people write here.

Technically, I am only relying on what the "OP" said about the video in terms of the content, and my first comment did not address the content:

I did not and do not need to watch the video to know that we don't know if it's truth or propaganda.

You evidently can not trust what people write here, because EVIDENTLY if you had watched the video, you would know that there are posters here intentionally lying about the content of the video.

Of course I cannot trust what people write here! I knew that long before this video...

But I have not addressed anything anyone has said about the contents of the video.

That's all. It's not about changing your opinion it's about HOW your opinion is formed.

My opinion was formed by history and experience long before this video was a twinkle in its creator's eye. Truth is the first casualty of war. Propaganda comes from both/all sides. I know that I cannot know the truth. No matter what the video contains. No matter what other posters here say. Simple.

TLDR: Either believe stupidly what people write or go look for yourself.

Nope on both. I'm not believing anyone about anything that I cannot know for myself. And I'm not going to watch the video.

And I will repeat that I have an absolute inalienable natural right to have an opinion and to express that opinion as I see fit. Watching a video does not "gain" me that right. Not watching a video does not take away that right.

I thought that as well, why would someone upload this. Unless it's a forced recruit who wants to show what is really going on. Anyone with a heart would not sanction such behavior. They did a thing that was just callous cruelty, to a guy who had no choice.

Yes, it's terrible. Invading soldiers being killed. Now take a look at the Ukranian civilian deaths as the Russians have "liberated" Ukraine from the "Nazis." Whole city blocks of residences obliterated by Russian artillery. Infrastructure destroyed. You want to do war crimes? Russia is at the pinnacle of the list.

Could be propaganda to play on the Russian troops invading. It seems the troops already have low morale to fight, so something like this could affect a good many of them from fighting in the future.

I noticed they were shooting them in a leg, and a wounded soldier cost the enemy a lot of resources and can not continue to fight. It's not like they have a way to put these Russian troops in a prison camp, so I guess they are making sure when they go back they are out of the fight.

Also, Oleksiy Arestovych, Zelenskyy's presidential advisor, says that there will be an investigation. "We take such cases extremely seriously...There will be an investigation...We do not torture POWs." So there's that.

Ya, I understand that, killing prisoners is wrong, but I understand it, or lets say I'm not surprised. It's easy for us to chatter away on the net, probably much different on the ground there, as to what happens in the middle of it.

The only flag I'm waving is the "Russia should GTFO" flag Whatever claims made about Ukraine, same to be said about Russia, no one is probably "good", but one definitely invaded.

I hope it ends soon, you are right, innocents on both sides suffer.
